We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week holiday at this amazing hotel. We were fortunate to have room 1709 which was a swim up room and had the sun from 11 am till late.All the staff were so friendly and helpful especially Manos at the pool bar who was just wonderful serving us our iced coffees in the morning and Gin and Tonics after lunch.The food was good with a nice selection each day .Would we return ? 100% yes ! Thank you to everyone.

“Perfection!”

We had the best week at Insula Alba. Hotel transfer was comfortable and quick. We were welcomed in Reception with a juice and a wet wipe to make ourselves feel more comfy after travelling. We had the best week at Insula Alba. Hotel transfer was comfortable and quick. We were welcomed in Reception with a juice and a wet wipe to make ourselves feel more comfy after travelling. We were sat down on the comfiest sofas and staff checked us in while we rested which was a nice touch. Treated ourselves (us and my son and girlfriend next door) to swim up rooms which was a wonderful idea. The pool was so relaxing and quiet. Sun beds were super comfy. Only addition would have been access to an umbrella for some much needed shade. Food was lovely. Our one night (included) in the à la carte restaurant was a very nice change to the buffet (although the buffet, with the themed nights was also very lovely). Cocktails were amazing! Pool bar staff were so nice and made ordering your drinks a very enjoyable experience. All made with branded alcohol which is very rare for all-inclusive in our experience. Our room was kept lovely and clean, and minibar restocked daily. Additional requests (eg. Extra pillow) were able to be made via the TUI BLUE app and were dealt with instantly! Great varied itinerary of daytime activities if you wanted to get involved. Bit more seating at the pool bar would be good as was often hard to find somewhere to sit after dinner to drink and play cards (we often went up to the Mezzanine instead). A wonderful trip. We felt very looked after by the friendly/helpful staff. Super clean. Delicious food. Would love to come again! Thanks Insula Alba for an unforgettable week of pure relaxation!

“Holiday July 2026 weather very hot”

Nice clean hotel .stayed in a shared swim up room but found them to close together. The pool is a bit deep if your under six feet tall and only want to stand in to cool off.i found the terrace at the back of the sunbeds very busy with other rooms walking past, it's supposed to be a private area.the… more

Nice clean hotel .stayed in a shared swim up room but found them to close together. The pool is a bit deep if your under six feet tall and only want to stand in to cool off.i found the terrace at the back of the sunbeds very busy with other rooms walking past, it's supposed to be a private area.the room it's self could do with draw storage had to live out of suitcase for two weeks.food was of a very good quality and the staff very helpful.sunbeds around the main pool were at a premium and had to go to the local beach a few times but that was OK.entertainment was minimal but that was expected.overall a very nice hotel and I'm only nit picking.would return.

The accommodation was immaculate. The cleaning team work non stop. Staff were fabulous and nothing is too much trouble. We were made to feel so welcome. Manos is as everyone says a real character, as are all the others in the pool bar, but we really loved Eleni and Eva in the snack bar (which it took us a few days to find). They were so kind and smiley and worked so hard. Thank you ladies. We loved the 2 restaurant meals and sitting in the piano bar in the evening. The drinks were really good quality and a huge range, a change from some other Tui hotels where they are luminous and sickly. The food as everyone says isn't great but it isn't terrible and the buffet restaurant is a lovely environment. We are in Crete.. why not have a smaller choice of some of the taverna staples every night rather than a huge array of generic buffet options. There are little gems in the buffet: the flavoured salts, oils, vegan sweet treats, nuts and dried fruits, fizzy water dispenser, oat milk, rice milk, soya milk, keffir etc. Everything is beautiful in the hotel. Wooden chairs and sunbeds, quality decor and so spacious. The reps were lovely. Sarah is fun (I'm still treasuring the drawing you did of us). Her wine tasting was like nothing else I've ever done! Make sure you go!The others in the group made it fun too. We loved the walk to Analispi to meet Mama and learn about olive oil and try her cooking. The cocktail making session wasn't so much fun. We needed more to do! And it was over quickly. Anna (in charge of fitness classes) works really hard and genuinely cares about people's health and wellbeing in her fitness sessions. She is very knowledgeable. The evening entertainment is sometimes a bit flat but people hang out with Manos and the reps get people involved. I think the more gentle level of entertainment means people chat to eachother more. There is no beach at the hotel which I was a bit sad about but on the bright side this gives you a beautiful, unlimited view of the sea from your sunbed, undisturbed by parasols. We went on the catamaran trip to Dia island. We booked it via Tui, because we were feeling lazy, but the same trip is available on trip apps. We were on the pricier trip which included a meal planned by an award winning chef. It was exceptional. When you go to Analipsi, take a proper look in the shops; in amongst the usual magnets and touristy bits are real goodies...honey, olive oil and Raki harvested and made by the shopkeepers. Talk to the shopkeepers...they will tell you all about their products. We are loving our goodies now we are back home.
