It’s difficult to know where to start with this review but it all started with a warm welcome from George, the night porter, who greeted us on arrival. Our luggage was set aside whilst we were presented with cold towels & lemonade and the receptionist checked us in. It was almost midnight and check in was quick and efficient as we were tired from our travels. Our room was a corner swim up junior suite, with one set of doors to the pool and the other to the garden with the beach just beyond. The room was well appointed and there was food waiting for us along with the stocked minibar of water, soft drinks; and a bottle of wine. Next morning we went for breakfast and another warm welcome was given by all the lovely restaurant staff (all the Katerinas, Nectarina; and Barbara - all assets to the hotel with their sunny dispositions). You can tell the team are happy at work and that they have worked together for a long time - there’s a buzz about the place as they clearly know how to speak to people yet get the job done. The food itself was faultless- so fresh with lots of choice and the orange juice just out of this world! We are Scottish and can’t access Mediterranean fruits that fresh so really savoured the freshness of the salads and fruits. I don’t understand the review which said you have to wait 20 minutes for coffee. That was certainly not our experience on any occasion. Lunch service again a choice of beautiful salads, desserts and cooked to order Greek Grill or Mediterranean style main courses. Dinner from one of the 5 a la carte restaurants also cooked to order. The Chicken Parmesan from Levante dinner menu is the best I’ve ever had and the mini steak sliders and Mille-feuille dessert from the Floga steak restaurant amazing; but in all honesty every dish from every restaurant was fantastic. We were all inclusive and there was no shirking with the drinks package. The bar team and waiting staff were all really pleasant and wanted to please with any requests. You could order specific wines at an additional cost if you wanted a bottle at the restaurant with food, juice, beer (draft or corona) but we found the 3 types each of white, 3 rose and 3 red were more than an adequate range to suit most palates. Cocktails and other spirits were all top brands and the frozen cocktails lush! We found all staff members throughout to be friendly and couldn’t really do enough for you. We generally find that if you speak to people kindly, they tend to return the favour and every morning a big wave and hello from our cleaner. The hotel is spotless across all areas. Plenty of towels and you just help yourself to exchanging pool towels at the spa if need be. The hotel had a family run feel about it, which of course it is, facilitated by a well oiled management team at the helm who we felt knew who their guests are and what they need (even before they do!). I had a massage in the spa which was professional and very relaxing. The sun beds are very thick and comfy - even down at the beach. The hotel is as they say themselves - pure luxe. It was a first visit for us but I doubt it will be our last - at least I hope not! We were sad to leave as George took our bags back to where it all started to check out at reception by the lovely Dimitris and hotel manager. We didn’t take too many photos as we were too busy enjoying ourselves!

“Its good”

It was nice stay I would say, good breakfast and dinner, service was ok. Small mistake has done (not by us) , but its okay got compensation 30 mints massage per person but we didnt take it, we were too busy to explore many places. Nice gesture though, appreciate it. It was nice stay I would say, good breakfast and dinner, service was ok. Small mistake has done (not by us) , but its okay got compensation 30 mints massage per person but we didnt take it, we were too busy to explore many places. Nice gesture though, appreciate it. Theres a photographer will take your pics in evening before dinner, then you can buy them printed next morning in breakfast. Nice beach , we love it, dont forget to bring your beach shoes.

This is my second visit to this particular hotel. My first was in May 2025 which I really truly enjoyed. The hotel itself is very lovely and as most reviews mention the food is excellent. However, on my second visit which was in October I found that the atmosphere was slightly different. Still the same amazing staff THROUGHOUT the hotel of course and the food was still high quality..but.. I tried to order room service and I wanted a steak. The room service menu does not have this option.. but why? The restaurant was literally a minute away from my room and the reason they said that I could not order the steak was because it would not get to my room in exactly the same state that it would if I was eating in the restaurant. They said that they had done it before and a customer had complained. This is not really an excuse in my opinion. I think you should be able to order what you want in a five star hotel if this calibre. That was very disappointing. I also think that the drinks are slightly overpriced, especially the cocktails. 13 euros for a piña colada is excessive my opinion. I do like the hotel very much but it’s mainly to do with the staff. After having visited twice, I don’t think a third visit is on the cards. But I wish you all well and I have enjoyed my stays but it’s somewhere new for me on my next visit to Crete
