We have had such a wonderful stay at Atlantica Akti Zeus and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other families. The food was absolutely amazing, with so much choice every day and something for everyone. The whole resort was also spotless. Seeing staff constantly sweeping up fallen petals, tidying the grounds throughout the day and cleaning the pools every evening really showed the pride they take in keeping the hotel looking its best. Travelling with our two daughters (aged 10 and 8), the entertainment team completely made our holiday. They went above and beyond to include them in every activity, quickly learned their names and made them feel genuinely special. A huge thank you to Adrienna and Sebastian, who got us hooked on family bocce and quick-fire darts. It became part of our daily routine and created some brilliant family memories. Christian and Vlada made sure everyone, whatever their age or ability, felt welcome during activities like water polo. Our girls loved playing on the opposite team to their dad and made lots of new friends along the way. Mario and the rest of the entertainment team also put on fantastic evening shows. The kids’ disco was a real highlight, and the songs and dance routines are still stuck in our heads! Thank you to everyone for giving us such a memorable holiday. We left with amazing memories and can’t wait to return.

We had the best time at Atlantica Akti Zeus Hotel! It was so much fun and everything was amazing. The entertainment team were awesome and made our holiday even better. Water polo with Christian was really fun, and we also loved darts and boccia with Adda and Sebastian. Our room was amazing, and the dinner was brilliant with all the different themed nights and lots of tasty food. Overall, this was the best holiday and we made so many great memories. We would definitely come back!

“Spa was amazing”

I had the most relaxing and rejuvenating spa this morning at the hotel spa. Sofokelis made sure I was comfortable and made me feel so relaxed- I fell asleep! Best massage I have ever had. Would definitely recommend visiting the spa to anyone who stays here.

We have just returned from a great all inclusive holiday at the Atlantica Akti Zeus Hotel. The hotel was perfect, right on the beach with lots of sunbeds both around the pool and on the beach. The pools were nice and warm as was the sea but the sand did get very hot so I would advise sandals. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and air conditioning. We arrived late at night and there was two bottles of water and sandwiches in the fridge waiting for us in our room as we had missed the restaurants, luckily for my husband who has a gluten allergy he had a sandwich left over from the journey. The fridge is quite roomy for a mini fridge and even had a tiny freezer compartment. There was a kettle, cups, glasses, tea bags, coffee etc in the room. The bathroom had everything you would need, bath towels, hand towels, hand wash, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel along with a shower cap. We had a small balcony with two chairs and more importantly a small clothes airer, I would take a few pegs in case it's breezy. I would say our room was pretty central for everything but it wasn't noisy, we were situated on the second floor above the on site shop. The shop had most essentials you might need or have forgotten, they had lots of inflatables, some were expensive but they had some on offer at 4.50 euros (big tyre type) so we bought one for each of our grandchildren and they even had a compressor and blew them up included in that price. We thought at that price if they last the week that would be great but we ended up letting them down and bringing them home. The restaurant was really good, we were met every meal time with a very friendly staff, I was a little worried as I am a vegetarian and my husband has a gluten allergy. There was that much choice, I was easily sorted and so was my husband, EVERYTHING is clearly labelled with allergy information. There was always a gluten free cake/pudding in addition to all the obviously gluten free like fruit. There was a good choice of soft drinks and also there was wine and beer available. If you were wet and didn't want to dry off for the restaurant there was a snack bar for more casual eating during the day, one thing that was a little hassle was that the snack bar did not have gluten free items so we had to dry off to go in the restaurant whilst the grandchildren and their parents went into the snack bar. The pools were nice and clean with a lifeguard on duty and regular keep fit/pool side activities for those who wanted to take part, we were never hassled in any way to join in. The beach was lovely and clean and again there was a lifeguard on duty and signs saying to stay within the buoyed area. There were three areas with sunbeds on boards for people with a disability and also there was what seemed to be a path they could roll out and a chair to get people with a disability who would struggle on the sand into the sea as well as a disabled changing area. When you book in, each person is given a card which allows you to have a beach towel from the spa which you can change every two days. The bar near the beach and pool was well stocked with very friendly staff. There was a small playground really only suitable for small children but the grandchildren enjoyed a swing once or twice, I noticed there was a boules area, I'm not sure where you would get the boules, perhaps from reception. There was a small enclosed area for football/ basketball and a table tennis table in the shade near the pool. The water slides are separate from the main pools but be aware our grandchildren couldn't use the main slides only the young children's slides. The lifeguards go on the colour of the wrist band not height or capability, our seven and a half year old who is a very confident swimmer, thinks nothing of jumping in and doing somersaults in the water and is tall for his age, was not allowed to use them, were as a friend he met who was eight, a lot shorter than him and wore arm bands because he couldn't swim was allowed on because he had a different coloured wrist band showing the lifeguard he was eight plus. We did go on a private boat trip run by the company on the beach which was a lot of fun and the staff were very friendly stopping in little bays to let the grandchildren and us snorkel. All in all the hotel is great and the staff are amazing, they work so hard in heat, the grandchildren enjoyed the mini disco each evening and there are lots of areas to sit and have a drink. Because of the grandchildren we didn't stay up for the adults entertainment.
