The room was spacious, stylishly decorated, and had that rare quality of feeling both luxurious and completely comfortable. Every detail felt intentional — from the calming colour palette to the amenities that made it feel like a private retreat. The swim‑up terrace itself was a dream. Morning sunshine made it perfect for a slow wake‑up dip, while the afternoon shade meant it never overheated. That rhythm worked beautifully: sun‑kissed mornings by the pool, then lazy afternoons on the gorgeous beach just steps away. 🤝 Staff Who Truly Make the Stay What elevates Paralos Lifestyle Beach from “great” to exceptional is the team. The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely delighted to see you — not in a scripted hospitality way, but in a way that felt personal. In the restaurant especially, nothing was too much trouble. They remembered preferences, anticipated needs, and created an atmosphere that made every meal feel like a treat. It’s rare to find service that feels this natural and heartfelt. 🏖️ A Small Resort That Has Everything You Need The resort itself is boutique in scale, but that’s part of its charm. It’s beautifully maintained, spotless throughout, and thoughtfully laid out so you never feel crowded. Despite its size, it never felt like anything was missing — quite the opposite. It’s the kind of place where you can genuinely unwind because everything just works. And the adults‑only element? Bliss. Whether you’re travelling as a couple, with friends, or even on a mum‑and‑daughter trip, the calm atmosphere makes it incredibly easy to relax. 🍽️ A Great Location With Lovely Local Spots The location is another win. There are several lovely lunch spots within a short walk, perfect for breaking up a beach day or exploring the local area without needing to plan a full outing. 🚗 Easy Island Driving & Close to the Airport We hired a car, and it made getting around Crete wonderfully simple. The hotel is only a short drive from the airport, and the roads were smooth, predictable, and easy to navigate. No stress, no chaos — just scenic drives and the freedom to explore. --- 🌟 Final Thoughts Paralos Lifestyle Beach is one of those rare finds that delivers on every level: stylish rooms, a perfect beachfront setting, exceptional staff, and a serene adults‑only atmosphere. My birthday stay felt special from start to finish, and I left already thinking about when I could return. Located off the main road in Amoudara, the hotel and resort stretches all the way to its spotless private beach at the shore. The atmosphere is calm, relaxed and friendly staff welcome you at every meeting during your stay. Our Room was just large enough so that we could walk past the end of the King size bed, but contained everything required for a comfortable stay. The highlight was a superb walk in, slightly sunken shower, large enough for 2 adults, powerful and never lacking hot water. The room contained a kettle, coffee maker, fridge, 3 wardrobes and a free to use safe, plus the essential Aircon. Outside the room had a dedicated doubles beds, plus just 2 meters from the door was the steps to one of numerous swimming pools that offer relaxing water close to every room. We were situated near the main pool, adjacent to the beach bar and less than 50 meters from the main restaraunt and the A la carte Restaraunt (we got one reservation for this as part of the holiday). The main restaurant offers a wide selection of foods to cater for the various nationalities that visit this resort, the standard of catering is very good (I'm a Master Chef by trade) and is served as a running buffet. I rarely find myself satisfied with the variety of dishes in these types of establishments, but the staff here operate a good rotation of popular, regional and international cuisine. I have to mention the patisserie chefs in dispatches, WOW! The resort is clean and well maintained, great condition and comfortable with a variety of stylish areas, designed to offer a change in scenery within the resort. The sun loungers both at poolside and on the beach are the best I have used, clean and super comfortable. Beach Towels are provided in the room and can be exchanged daily. We were able to get a bus into Heraklion for a day's shopping and sightseeing, 3 euro 20 return each, the bus ride took around 20 minutes each way and was well worth the time, with food, shopping, ancient monuments, coffee, more shopping and a quaint harbour visit. A minor detail that might affect some, our room backed on to the Beach Bar cellars and staff rooms and we experienced some late night noise (around 1-2am). Luck of the draw I guess and it did not detract from our enjoyable stay. The beach bar offered live entertainment every evening, ranging from a singer to a bazouki player, standard fare, could be better but I guess the resort are operating to a budget for entertainment. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, we felt pampered and relaxed and we recommend this resort as a great adult only break.

All areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean an all the staff were friendly and helpful, within a happy atmosphere. The food deserves a special mention, especially those naughty desserts. A lovely place to stay , ALL the staff are amazing and really hard working , every one of them making it a very enjoyable experience. The whole place is spotless, cleaners and pool guy brilliant. food is great with lots of choice , two place to enjoy breakfast and dinner, both excellent . Place is very well laid out with plenty of sunbeds both around the pools and on the beach , sunbeds never an issue even if you get up late , but you do need to constantly move the ones on the beach to face the sun. Pool and beach service , by the waiter/ waitress is also a bonus. If you want to go outside the hotel ,the Bus stops are close by to take you to the city centre and port its 2.50 euros each way if you pay on bus ,cheaper if you buy a ticket before hand. A Taxi is 14 euros each way , ticket office turn right up the road a bit (cheapest and very friendly) also sells trips and tours. (Santorini day trip by ferry and coach with guide was amazing , was 145 euros each person, but worth every penny) Supermarkets dotted up and down the road sell mostly what you want but choice is limited and some items expensive compared to other places we have visited. You can also buy a ticket for the hop- on- hop- off bus if you want to explore various places including the port and Knossos palace etc. 20 euros for a 48hr ticket. The area around the hotel is a bit laid back a few bars and restaurants and a few small shops, not much going on in the evening ,x2 bars, turn right and head up road on left hand side of road , the one furthest away offer cocktails 7.50 euros all night, has tv for sports and a pool table. The beach is long and narrow with one place offering water sports, jet ski's but very expensive.
