Excellent hotel in a perfect location, just a short walk from the town, beach, and shops, yet peaceful and quiet. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and cleaned daily, with fresh towels every day and bedding changed every two days. The hotel has two amazing pools, each with its own bar, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The food and drinks are delicious and reasonably priced compared to the town centre. The staff are fantastic—always friendly, welcoming, and smiling. We couldn't fault anything and highly recommend Maria Rousse Hotel. We will definitely be back!

A lovely holiday! Went on girls holiday in July and had the most amazing experience and time. The location was perfect less then 5 min walk to Malia strip. 10 min walk from the beach. 5 min walk to old town Malia. Supermarket at the end of the road. No need for taxis or Ubers due to ideal location… more

A lovely holiday! Went on girls holiday in July and had the most amazing experience and time. The location was perfect less then 5 min walk to Malia strip. 10 min walk from the beach. 5 min walk to old town Malia. Supermarket at the end of the road. No need for taxis or Ubers due to ideal location. We had 2 rooms a 3 bed and a 2 bed. Both rooms had kitchen facilities and was beautful and spacious. The staff was amazing and the most loveliest and friendly team from bar staff to reception to security. Made you feel very welcomed and safe. The hotel had 2 large pools and plenty of sun beds. The food and drinks were great value for money and cheap and good quality. I would 100% recommended this hotel and would come back and stay in the future, no doubts or faults. Honestly

“A brilliant family run resort. Highly recommend”

What a fantastic place this is! I took 23 Lads and Dads from Skewen RFC Youth Team to Malia at the end of June. We stayed at the resort for 4 days and I have to say it was fantastic. What a fantastic place this is! I took 23 Lads and Dads from Skewen RFC Youth Team to Malia at the end of June. We stayed at the resort for 4 days and I have to say it was fantastic. The staff were very polite and accommodating and the whole resort was spotless. The security was visible at night which made us all feel safe. The location is brilliant. Just a 2 minute walk and you’re on the strip. A 10 minute walk and you’re on the beach. Perfect. The 2 pools were lovely and warm and the bars were fully stocked with an excellent selection of local and international drinks and snacks. The rooms were spacious and had either a terrace or balcony. We shared 2 or 3 people per room. They also contain a fridge, small oven, kitchen area, bathroom and TV. We ate at the resort each night and the food was delicious. From Gyros, Pizzas, Burgers, Souvlaki right through to chicken nuggets. It was great and very well priced. 24 of us ate dinner together and the bill was less than €250 euros. The alcohol was also very reasonable. It’s a perfect family run hotel where the owners take pride in the appearance and daily running , There were guests who told me they have been returning for over 10 years and I can see why. We stayed at Maria rousse for ten nights, and overall had a good experience. There are some pros and cons to this hotel and it is a 3 star like it is rated Pros: The hotel is in a really good location close to both the old town and the strip . The staff are all friendly and helpful and make you feel very welcome. The hotel grounds are very nice and well kept. There are two pools and we never struggled to get a sunbed even in to the afternoon. The breakfast selection was of good size not too big or small and was replenished regularly. The bed was comfy and the room was of good size and our terrace was a good addition. Cons: Due to the location of the hotel there were lots of groups of youngsters who you could hear coming back late into the early hours of the morning Although there is a security guard making sure people not being too loud in the pool/bar area you could hear them in the corridors and their rooms Some times around the pool the groups were a bit loud and rowdy in the afternoons The room we were given was not what we had anticipated what it would be based off the pictures on the website, we booked through easyJet and were expecting a large corner balcony and had requested not to have a ground floor room, upon arrival we questioned this with the owner and were told that only the apartments have these balcony’s and he assured us that we were in a superior room Whilst the room was big in size it lacked the basic essentials (chest of drawers for clothes, seat/chair inside,shaver plug) Overall we enjoyed our stay and we couldn’t have asked any more of the staff team, but in comparison to other places we have stayed we would say it is a 3 star experience.
