I just got back from Adele Beach last night with my sister and i have to say we absolutely loved this place. It is a lovely hotel with a beautiful setting, the location was great, the view was perfect, the access to beach was literally an extension on the hotel. Very comfy beds and the food was amazing! All the staff were so friendly and happy, they can’t do enough for you! There was never a problem getting a sunbed which were very comfortable. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, close to all shops, restaurants and bars. Highly recommend this hotel. The sunset views from the hotel are stunning, what an amazing experience! I want to also mention a few members of staff who made our stay even more enjoyable: Vagelis from the restaurant was friendly, professional and always making sure we have everything we needed, Giorgos the chef was also super friendly (the food is amazing, always tasty and fresh, and i’m very fussy eater so big thanks!). Also, many thanks to Myron who works at the reception / bar for his great service, the whole tram made us feel like a part of family! You are a great bunch of people. Overall, we had an amazing holiday, and we would love to go back. Highly recommended!

Well, we've been back home in less than 8 hours so immediately felt obliged to submit this positive review at the earliest opportunity. What can we say having just spent the last 6 days at the Adele Beach Hotel centrally located just outside the town of Rethimno and on the north coast of Crete. The hotel is around a 70 minutes car/bus transfer journey (one way) from Chania Airport, but the journey is worth the time and effort when you eventually reach the hotel. The Adele Beach Hotel is ideally located with a 25 minutes bus (number 20) journey/ride away from the nearest historic town of Rethimno which literally has something to offer everyone but just remember to purchase bus tickets in advance from all local stores and shops at 2 euro per trip. The Adele Beach Hotel is centrally located near to the main high road with numerous bars, ATM's, supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants and activity venues along with a pharmacy, hire car centres and a medical centre. The hotel is set back and away from the main road so there are no noise or pollution issues. As for the Adele Beach Hotel itself...WOW! The hotel is shown as 4 star and they certainly deserve that rating. From the moment we arrived - staff were truly professional, smartly dressed, approachable, friendly, informative, accommodating, ready to assist and help to exceed all levels of customer service to ensure every single guests stay expectation were met. The facilities on site and in the rooms are extremely modern, clean and impressively maintained. For us we loved the room shower facility. There is one large pool with it's own pool bar and free sunbed access around the large pool area and on the private beach. The selection of food is local Greek cuisine meets European and west. Strongly recommend you go fully inclusive with breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner which are served throughout the day and evening at sets times so you'll never go hungry or thirsty. During our stay in Oct there was no evening entertainment at the hotel but there is an idyllic evening bar where guests played board games and playing cards to be utilised at your leisure. So in a nutshell...would we stay at the Adele Beach Hotel again in the future....100% yes! If you're toying with the idea to visit Crete in 2026 then seriously consider reviewing their website and book your accommodation asap. As for all the staff from us - a HUGE thank you again and enjoy your well deserved rest during the winter months and all the best in 2026!

“Relaxing but not great beach”

We are here now and there for is great, rooms beautiful and clean, good air con and very relaxing. Unfortunately we are beach people that's why we booked this hotel and I didn't see any negatives so booked it happily. Unfortunately the beach is shingle which on all the photos it looks sand and you need to wear the sea shoes or it hurts your feet, we tried to go in once and the large stones which we thought were sand were so slippery my husband fell into the sea twice, we saw old people being helped out of the sea and it was difficult to get out of the water as you sank into the shingle, we thought it was so dangerous. So we have spent the week by the pool. So great if you are not interested in the beach, which is a shame as its right on it. The bus no. 20 which is 2 euros takes you into town which is massive and bustling and tons of shops and restaurants and nightlife but the bus is always heaving and you never get a seat and they squeeze as many people on. But its 40 euros for a taxi or 70 both ways which is a more pleasant journey. Lovely restaurant opposite hotel which we went to twice as liked to try meals at night time. Oh the hotel baklava was the best I ever tasted. Nice cocktails by the beach bar too.

Just back from Adele beach hotel. I can highly recommend. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is very good, something for everyone and plenty of it. Well managed and maintained. Very close to the beach, and not having to pay for sunbeds is a bonus. We had a lovely side sea view room which was cleaned daily and towels changed when requested. Just a couple of little things the hotel could improve on. Some hotel guests were taking extra sunbeds for themselves, so a couple would take 4 sunbeds, and I saw a single person take 2. I presume so they wouldn't have to move them around in the sun. Not very fair when other hotel guests are looking for beds and not finding any. I also noticed a guest in the restaurant using their fingers at the buffet, not the hotel's fault, but perhaps could be monitored better. The beach is very close, just steps away, but as a couple in their 70s we found it hard to access the sea to swim. There is a stretch of concrete/rock that makes it difficult. There is a good sized swimming pool in the hotel which has a lifeguard which is an alternative. No need to bring a kettle, there is a good one in the room.
