⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely exceptional resort – I highly recommend it! Whether you’re travelling as a family or as a couple, this is a place you’ll want to return to. The five stars are fully deserved. In fact, the photos don’t do the resort justice – it is even more beautiful in real life. The food is outstanding. The buffet offers a wide variety of fresh, high-quality Greek specialties every day, along with excellent international dishes and delicious desserts. You can really tell that quality and attention to detail are top priorities. The rooms are stylish, spotless, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The entire resort is beautifully maintained, lush, and immaculately clean. From the moment you enter the lobby, you’re welcomed by a wonderful signature scent that immediately creates a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere. The views over the sea are simply breathtaking, especially from the higher parts of the resort. Waking up to that panorama every day felt like a dream. The service deserves special recognition. Every member of staff was genuinely warm, professional, and attentive. They anticipate your needs before you even have to ask. The reception team even did everything they could to allow me to stay in my room longer for a late check-out, which I really appreciated. Even the staff handing out towels at the beach were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Another highlight is the atmosphere created by the guests. The clientele is respectful, relaxed, and refined. Many guests dress elegantly for dinner, which adds to the sophisticated ambiance of the resort. Overall, it attracts people who appreciate quality, tranquillity, and a peaceful holiday experience. The bars are excellent, the cocktails are expertly prepared, and the live music in the evenings creates a wonderful atmosphere without ever feeling intrusive. For fitness enthusiasts, the resort is fantastic. The indoor gym is well equipped, and there is also an outdoor gym where you can work out while enjoying spectacular views of the Mediterranean. Training on the bike or doing pull-ups overlooking the sea is an experience in itself. The resort also features several beautiful swimming pools spread across different levels, so it’s always easy to find a peaceful place to relax. The private beach is located in a protected bay with crystal-clear water and is reserved exclusively for hotel guests. It is exceptionally clean, free of microplastics, and perfect for swimming and relaxing. Another advantage is that you can rent a car directly at the hotel at very reasonable prices. From there, it’s easy to visit some of Crete’s most famous attractions, including the Palace of Knossos, the Arkadi Monastery, or the beautiful old town of Rethymno. There are also plenty of opportunities for activities such as jet skiing nearby. If you’re looking for outstanding food, exceptional service, a beautiful setting, and a truly relaxing atmosphere, this resort is an easy choice. I would return without hesitation.

This was a great family holiday - this was our first time as a family to go on a resort holiday and the Royal Blue did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left our experince was first class. The staff is extermly attentive and very friendly, nothing was too much for them. The variety of pools were excellent - we throughly enjoyed the peace and tranquity of our shared pool attached to our room, the scernity of the adult pool and the slightly busier family pool. Sun Loungers and service at all the pools were excellent. The private beach for the resort is also a excellent location for relaxing and swimming in the clear blue sea. Finally i would throughly recommend the Greek night, entertainment and food were excellent. On our first night the Saxaphonist at the fish restuarant was excellent. Thank you for the wide variety of entertainment and the whole feeling of the resort. We will be back :)

This is our second visit to this wonderful hotel. Nothing is too much, the staff in the restaurant, and beach restaurant are friendly, helpful and a pleasure to know. Not one member of staff from check in to chambermaids are not friendly or smiling. It is the most relaxing hotel, with great food, the choice in the buffet whether it is breakfast or dinner is 5 star. We can’t fault anything in this wonderful hotel and look forward to returning. If you want 5 star luxury look no further than the Royal Blue.
