I can't begin to explain the uniqueness of this gorgeous little holiday complex. Within the first day we felt part of the family. The rooms are clean, the views amazing and are kept away from the busy area of Stalis. When we were there all rooms were full but we had the pool to ourselves 95% of the time when we chose to have a relaxing day. Stef the owner and her mum are a fantastic pair and the food is delicious and perfect for offerings up until evening meal time.. We chose to stay here due to the good reviews and opt out of all inclusive for once. We are so glad we did, as we could use Stef's bar during the day up until 9pm and then go out to eat at the gorgeous traditional tavernas down the road. The best of both worlds. Stef is currently doing up some of the dated rooms for those that want more of a luxurious experience, but the rooms are so clean it doesn't matter staying in the more outdated ones. Do bear in mind some rooms are up 70 steps, so check with the property and request a lower room if you can't manage this, but you will.mis out on some of the views as a compromise! Just perfection in every form and has taught me a complete way of holidaying to look for in the future.

Just returned from our 10th stay at these apartments! There are 12 rooms here it's a small and friendly place, very relaxing with great views. The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean with everything you need to cook if you want to. We choose not to because the food Steph cooks is amazing quality, cooked to order and HUGE portions. Great beers too! There's a gorgeous pool with plenty of sunbeds and free WiFi throughout. This place is a 15 minute walk from the main strip which has loads of bars and restaurants and a lovely sandy beach. It is uphill from the town but this means it's lovely and quiet away from the noise. It's an easy walk to catch the buses to get out and about. They're clean, cheap, reliable and air conditioned! Potamoss beach is a must! Thanks again Steph and Maria, we'll see you next year

“Excellent family holiday in the sun”

We stayed at the Mary Sofi Apartments in August 2019 for two weeks. We travelled as a family of six adults and four children. We had three rooms; room 4, 5 and 8. Room 4 was the smallest but was plenty big enough for the two adults using it and the balcony was brilliant with excellent views. Room 5 and 8 were family rooms and larger. The rooms were clean and tidy with ample facilities for cooking etc. if required. The rooms were cleaned and towels changed on a regular basis. The host Stephanie is lovely and cannot do enough to ensure you have a lovely, comfortable holiday. This was our youngest daughters first holiday abroad (15 months old) so we were a little anxious about the heat and making sure she stayed comfortable but anything we needed Stephanie sorted for us. As one of the previous reviews states it feels a little like been welcomed in by a family rather than staying at a hotel, which for a family holiday was ideal for us. The first night we arrived it was late and we were greeted by the lovely Carol, who provided a very warm welcome. The pool area is great and very clean with plenty of sunbeds. Finally I have to mention Stephanie's cooking. We had a few breakfasts at the hotel which were lovely and on the last day we had our evening meal there before departing for the airport. The food was excellent and we would highly recommend the spaghetti bolognese and kleftiko, all homemade and delicious. Overall an excellent family holiday and lovely place to stay and we hope to return next year.

I stayed as a solo female at Sunny Hill for 2 weeks by myself. It is located just on the edge of Stalis. Walking distance into Stalis and out the way from the noise of Stalis. Very peaceful location. Only 12 apartments so very quiet, private and restful. Staff are super friendly and lovely,and can't do enough to make you feel welcome. I was Apartment 6. Located 52 steps up. Amazing views! Private balcony. Proper double bed! Super comfy. Spotlessly clean and spacious . Free safe, air con and hair dryer. Lovely big bathroom. Simple cooking facilities, kettle and fridge freezer. Perfect for me. So quiet at night. No noise at all. Walls are solid so you dont hear any neighbour noise, footsteps, doors, voices. This was so relaxing. The pool is all yours. It is never busy. There is a bar that serve food too. The pool is a real suntrap so great for sunbathing. No music blarring so again very peaceful. The one point, raised on other reviews is yes there are lots of steps . Sunny Hill is on a steep hill. The apartments are staggered upwards so Apart 1 at the bottom, with no steps and 12 at the top. I was half way. Think total of 70 steps if you are located at the top. Talking to staff they are planning to install a lift ready for next year. So that will be a game changer for non steps lovers. The walk into Stalis strip takes exactly 6-8mins at a normal pace . You do have a 100 metres walk along the busy main road initially , with limited path, then under the underpass and this leads to a paved well lit path to arrive outside Lukas Bar on the strip, so very central. If you are looking for peace,quiet, and privacy away from the bustle of Stalis , Sunny Hill is the hotel for you. Highly recommend. Thankyou for a lovely stay.
