This hotel was such an amazing gem I found! The staff is absolutely amazing and super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, close enough to all the restaurants and shops but far enough for it not to be too loud/crowded. The breakfast was served daily on the balcony and was amazing and delicious. The rooms are beautiful and you get the view of the caldera so you can watch sunset/sunrise from the hotel. I booked the junior suite and loved the hot tub with the gorgeous view. The room wasn’t super big but you are in santorini go outside and explore! Definitely recommend it! Also booked transfer with hotel and was happy I did.

What a cute little gem this place was! Very intimate with unique rooms, great views, and a sort of quirky authentic vibe that you will never find at a chain hotel. The staff were really attentive. Having breakfast delivered to our private terrace overlooking the water each morning was a real highlight. We booked the Superior Suite with Hot Tub and Caldera View which comfortably sleeps four and is perfect for a family with small children or a group of girlfriends We were just two, but when I saw how cool the shower was, I knew immediately that was the room I was going to pick. I will say, although I am personally giving this a five star review, I can see how to some it would not seem like a great value for the money. This particular hotel is located right in the heart of Fira and you have private access to scenic backdrops that other people have to wait in line to get photos of. That sort of positioning comes with a price tag. A few small changes to soft finishes, and in room minibar should win over the couple of detractors that have left negative reviews. A veteran luxury traveler might have some qualms at spending $700 a night and having cheap soap in the washroom and Johnny Walker Red Label in their minibar (this is not a budget stay and while minibar items were economically priced, it was just the wrong selection for this particular suite and locale) Please bear in mind that you are booking at a place that is over 100 years old, this is a converted cave house so of course they have dehumidifiers and you might see a little bit of bubbling in the limestone finish of the walls but to me that just added to the charm of the experience.

I booked Limestone Junior Suite as a surprise for my wife and we loved the quirky nature of this cave style hotel and the beautiful views of the caldera. We also enjoyed watching the sunset from our private hot tub or balcony. Our room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning, mini fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. Limestone is perfectly located just outside the busy areas, but in reach of all the amazing restaurants. Breakfast was served on our balcony everyday and was superb with lots of choices. Special thanks to Thrasos and his team for making us feel very welcome and for looking after us. He even sorted out our airport pick up when it failed to arrive and we made our flight on time!

Me and my husband stayed here for the last 3 nights of our honeymoon. The staff here were honestly so friendly, helpful, kind and welcoming. The location of the hotel is literally a hidden gem!!! Santorini is known as being so crazy busy and with limited privacy as you see on social media but this hotel was perfect!! it's right in the centre of Fira and has the most idilic views of the Caldera. Yes there were a few people that walked past our room as there is a street for pedestrians that is right next to the Jacuzzi but it wasn't as busy as you see on social media at all, the street itself is a very quiet street and it was only every so often that someone would walk past. The hotel room itself was amazing, we stayed in the honeymoon suite which had the Jacuzzi and cave room which was just beautiful. We had breakfast delivered to our room every morning and it was unlimited so we could have what we wanted and however much we wanted. The views from the hotel were just beautiful, some nights we just sat on our balcony looking over the caldera admiring the wonderful view. The staff were amazing!!!! We did opt for the hotel transfer from the port which was well worth it with all of the steps and narrow streets so it was nice to know we didnt have to try and navigate our way to the hotel without help. We were kindly gifted a bottle of bubbly on arrival as a treat for being on our honeymoon and also on our second day whilst we were relaxing in the Jacuzzi, one of the staff kindly came over to use and gave us the most delicious glass of wine. Honestly we couldn't thank the staff here enough! Beds were so comfortable and rooms very nicely decorated with a very unique cave feature typical of that Santorini style. It's not a hotel complex with a shared pool/large reception/restaurant etc as it just has a very small reception room but this is what we wanted as we knew we would be going out to explore and eat in restaurants in Santorini. I would definitely recommend this place to stay and would stay here again 100%. Thank you again to all of the staff as you made our honeymoon one to remember! Toni & James Perrin/Reynolds
