Beautiful suite, views and the staff was great! Would definitely stay here again. Great location, near good restaurants, shops and had mini markets nearby to pick up great Santorini wines!

We wouldn't stay anywhere else. Travelling with Jet2, we were transferred to Secret Legends and our bags were taken for us to our suite. With plenty of space, welcome air conditioning and a gorgeous rain shower, we couldn't have asked for more. We were greeted with the friendliest of service by all members of staff and nothing was too much for them. The suite was stunning and maintained by staff during the day so it was always neat and tidy. A delicious breakfast was included ranging from omelette to croissant, fruit platters to fresh juices, all served in the hidden gem of a breakfast area. Our favourite parts of Secret Legends suites was the location and the view. Below the hustle and bustle of Oia centre, you entered through a private gate and the view was out of this world of the Caldera. WiFi was fantastic and staff were on call around the clock if you were to need anything.

Myself and my wife stayed at Secret Legend Suites. A very disappointing experience given that they rate themselves at 5 star and Jet2 rate them at 4 star. We would rate at 3 star and I feel that I am being generous. Upon arrival we completed forms and breakfast requests. We were then showed to our 'suite' given a tour and advised the tea, coffee and 1 bottle of water a day was complimentary we were also advised that the tray of snacks were also complimentary but the mini bar did incur charges, we were completed satisfied with this until the end of our holiday when we were charged for the snacks we had eaten. After freshening up we went out for our evening meal. Upon our return at around 10pm we had no power in the suite at all. We firstly went to reception but everyone had left for the day, we then called the contact number we had been provided with but there was no answer. As a last resort I contacted Jet2 who tried to make contact with reception but unfortunately they could not contact them either. We spent the night in a room with no power.....no light, no air conditioning no hot or cold drinks. This may seem like a slight 'hiccup' but when paying almost £700 a night in a 4/5 star suite it is not good enough in my opinion. The kettle was filling with white bits, and although we kept cleaning it we could not get rid of the white bits and we had to request a replacement kettle. This was probably limescale which is normal but again not what you expect in a 4/5 star suite. The hot tub/jacuzzi looked old and not very well cared for as almost the whole of one side was black on the edges and joins (not sure if this was mould or a bad repair job) but it did not look very inviting and we commented on the fact that we hadn't seen any of the Hot tub/Jacuzzi's to the 6 suites being cleaned/treated. Even when guest's left we didn't see this taking place before new guest's arrived. I had to visit a pharmacy with a skin reaction and was told it was due to the sun and heat. Upon arrival back home I had to see my own GP who advised me I had a skin infection that in her opinion was caused by bacteria found in improperly treated hot tubs. Given that a big selling point is the tranquillity and privacy of these suites (and one of the main reasons we booked it) you actually get very little! Next to our suite and in front of the reception room there is an area that is no bigger than 10 foot by 5 foot and gets packed with holiday makers taking pictures from 6.30am through to 1am and cutting through right in front of you. They were never asked to leave until we spoke to reception and we were advised that part of the space was owned by them but some of it was public. We did hear reception asking people to not cut through on 2 occasions after we had bought this up. There was no privacy when you went for breakfast as tourists were right above you learning over the wall to take pictures. The tables and chair's were always very dusty and at the end of our stay you could actually write your name in the dust. Not very hygienic in a place serving food. When you were in the jacuzzi or on the patio the suites above could see you, one resident even commented on the tattoo's I have on my back. Secret Legend Suited needs to be completely updated and when guests leave the room, patio and Jacuzzi needs to be deep cleaned before new guests arrive. This is something that we never witnessed during our 9 day stay. One guest arrived and her Jacuzzi was not working and couldn't seemed to be fixed, she left the very next morning, this could have been pre-arranged but it could also have been an unhappy guest! Although the staff were very nice it simply can't make up for the lack of care, attention and facilities of the self rated 5 stars given the amount of money it costs to stay there. This is just my experience and opinion but please think really hard before booking.
