We were a multi generational family visiting end of May. It was a lovely week, the weather was great and the hotel is set in lovely grounds which are all very well maintained. It’s really handy having the beach so accessible so we could move easily between pool or beach throughout the day. The beach is gorgeous, clear water, great hotel sunbeds and bar service (although drinks expensive). It’s supposedly a 5 star but there are certainly some room for improvement: Our room was booked for 2 adults and 2 children but we had to call to have the sofa bed set up. We only received one bottle of water a day but with 4 guests in the room, it would be courteous to offer more. The breakfast spread is amazing (something for everyone) but it’s a bit like a cafeteria and really busy so not very relaxing start to the day. Most of the staff were lovely but some could do with some customer service training, smiles etc. However, this is constructive feedback as we had a fantastic week and would return.

“Highly recommend”

We really loved this hotel. The grounds are stunning and so well kept. Check in was easy. The hotel used the buggy to take us and our cases to our room which was a nice novelty for the kids. We really loved this hotel. The grounds are stunning and so well kept. Check in was easy. The hotel used the buggy to take us and our cases to our room which was a nice novelty for the kids. We booked the aura suite which was super clean and very spacious. The house keeper was great, cleaned daily if we wanted and swapped our towels daily. The room was really quiet, couldn't hear our neighbours. Hotel was quiet and relaxing. Baby's travel cot was set up ready with sheets on the cot. The living area had two pull out single beds which were comfortable. A sliding door separated the rooms so we could relax whilst baby slept. Doors open straight onto the swimming pool (no closed balcony). Decent air conditioning and a safe in the room. Location is on Valtos beach, hotel has free sunbeds on the beach along with beach towels. There's a few local mini supermarkets and cafes/bars within short walking distance of the hotel (5mins). It was an easy walk with the pram. We got a taxi into parga (around 8 euro). 5min drive. We found it easy and quick. We also used the water taxi on valtos beach (around 3euro pp one way) to get to parga which was good and very enjoyable, took around 10mins, even with the pram and kids it was ok, just have to take care getting on and off. Come around every 30mins ish. Super easy. We did walk into parga once, whilst its doable with the pram we found it a bit of an effort as its 20mins up hill, we had to walk around a bit more aswell to avoid the steps. If we didnt have the kids we would have walked in more often. Lots of pools, and usually sunbeds available. Breakfast was great, so much choice. They even had a kids station with pancakes and waffles which is great for picky eaters. Would highly recommend it.

“Parga beach resort”

Room very nice. Breakfast let it down. Most of the supposedly hot food was cold. We complained but nothing changed. It was cold every morning. Almost every couple we spoke to said the same thing. On a positive note the staff were very friendly and the gardens were very well kept

We visited Parga Beach Resort in the second week of May. Good: - Lovely rooms, gardens and beach - Parga itself was great - Staff were individually trying to help (Areti was super) - Kids club is lovely - Best food available at the time was from the pool bar (which says quite a lot!) Not so good: - Lots of building work still ongoing around the beachfront - Only one restaurant open and we were all inclusive (we ended up having to eat in Parga where the food was significantly better) - Menus have lots of items with additional charges so you have to check all the time if all inclusive - Some baby equipment was not there when we arrived despite requesting a month before - Service was really chaotic and slow (no app service either) which made it impossible to get value for money from the all inclusive (this did get better as the week went on) - We had contact with Jet2 3 times over the week with issues - Their Instagram was posting photos of restaurants that were not ready/open for normal guests which made it more frustrating General info which might be helpful: - we managed the walk to Parga fine with a travel pram (its bumpy but you can avoid the stairs) - pools and sea were chilly but the shallow end of the kids pool was usable - there is a shop just outside the resort (prices generally fine, nappies looked very expensive) - kids club does a stay and play for all ages Mon-Sat 13:00-14:30 which was lovely - Aura suite was great for a family of 4 (baby and toddler) If you are flexible with when you can go I'd really suggest September over May - mainly just so the resort is all ready.
