Absolutely loved this holiday, the hotel was lovely and clean, staff were fabulous. We chose half board , the breakfast selection was very good and the evening meals were lovely, beautiful turbot, sea bass, pasta dishes and excellent salads to choose from. Mara was lovely,so funny and friendly as was the boss Rania and the lovely cook Elpida. My favourite was our fantastic cleaner who made such brilliant art work with the towels! We alternated between the pool and the beach just a few minutes walk away. Valtos beach is really lovely. In the evenings we either walked up to Mikes bar to watch the sunset or took the water taxi to Parga harbour which is stunningly beautiful. Did NOT want to come home!

“Enjoyable Stay Again.”

This is our 2nd stay at this Hotel, first one 2022, we liked it first time so we came back. A lot of changes new blocks built and we stayed in block 5, A new room very nice and modern. One or two teething problems { Safe, Fridge } but quickly sorted. the area will look better when landscaped to give a bit more privacy. Reception adequate nice wellcome, Air Con. The staff here are lovely nothing to much trouble and they work really hard. If you require some thing different for breakfast just ask the chef who is a treasure to this place. 3 Euros for the water taxi is cheap, not gone up in 3 years, as for visitors many different nationalities because they can just drive here because it is on mainland Greece. We met some lovely people here and it was so nice just to relax and have a drink. G/J have a drink for us. Yes we would definitely go back and September is a nice time to go, No crowds like July August. One tip if going with Tui book private transfers, because Tui's are a nightmare and take forever. Stay 5/5. Parga is Beautiful.

If you want fabulous accommodation (we had one of the rooms with a private pool), a lovely friendly and helpful team running the place and great food then this is the place. Buffet breakfast is brilliant. Great to be somewhere that is relatively small rather than a big impersonal place. Location wise it takes about 5 mins to walk to Valtos beach, supermarket 2 mins away and restaurants close by. Can’t fault anything Loved our stay at Scarabeo.

“A good 3.5 experience”

Arrived Sunday afternoon, first impression was its smaller than it looked on jet2 website with a small reception area where we were quickly shown to our room which was no 310 on corner of block, big modern apartment we were very happy with . No complimentary drinks for us though….bit annoying when the very next arrivals were met by nice iced drinks….ah well…Nice quiet apartments not far from beach, up a small winding country lane which gets busy at times with mopeds and cars tight on for passing each other and no pavement for us to walk on but we are in Greece lol, you are about 10 mins to the centre of Valtos beach, you can use the sea boat taxi from there into Parga town, €3 a pop each, this adds up after a while but is a lot easier on your legs than walking up that hill, we did walk it the once but it was hard work in the heat so the sea taxi makes life easier, they are quite regular and seem to come and go every half hour or so. Parga is very scenic and pretty. Parga town I would describe as very popular and busy with tourists from all over the world visiting it but I wouldn’t let this put you off as imo it was very much well worth a visit or two. Our apartments were out of the way and in a quiet area which we liked. The pool area was chilled, quiet and relaxed most of the time. …I have to say I get the impression these apartments are not 100% completed yet and because of this these apartments are right now a 3.5 rating imo. For it to be a proper 4 star there are a few small things that need to be addressed like the pathway from the rear of the main block has broken slabs before the metal gates by the road, weeds in between slabs don’t look good either, the plastic grill on the edge of the main swimming pool is very flimsy and loose and I could see someone hurting themselves by stepping onto this in the wrong place if it isn’t secured down properly. Breakfast area here was served at the pool side and was a bit on the small side but had the usual array of orange juice, tea coffee and toast plus the hotel cat begging round your ankles every morning lol, it got busy at times but was perfectly adequate …my wife would have loved some baked beans to go with her eggs and bacon tho lol, was a lot of cakes, pancakes and a bit of continental stuff too. Overall we were happy with these apartments and had a nice quiet relaxing break here, more a 3.5 star in our opinion at the moment but I wouldn’t let this put you off.
