Our stay at Atlantica Belvedere was everything we had hoped for. The TUI transfer from the airport was straightforward and comfortable. When we arrived at the hotel, there was only us and another couple on the bus. When we got off the bus we were greeted outside the front door by Angela who was very friendly and welcoming. She gave us our welcome drink of prosecco and a hot flannel whilst she went through the check in process with us, which was very informative and suitably straightforward. Once we had checked in we were taken to our room by golf buggy. This saved us having to drag our suitcases over the cobbles to our room. Our room was spacious, clean and tidy and everything was in good working order. The large balcony had a table and chairs and a nice view of the sea over the top of the other hotel buildings with the island of Nisyros in sight. We had booked a sea view room. The room was cleaned regularly and our bed was made each day. The complimentary tea and coffee was restocked daily, as were the 2 complimentary bottles of water. We spent most of our days by the pool. The pool area was well laid out and seemed to have plenty of sun beds as we always managed to get some. From what we could see, availability of sun beds was good throughout the day. Each day had a different activity scheduled in the pool area at various times in the day. There was aqua aerobics, a DJ, casino games and a saxophonist throughout the week. When these events were not on, there was no music playing around the pool. Some people have “complained” about this in their reviews, but for us this was great. It was always nice and quiet and peaceful by the pool. The pool bar was easily accessible and being all inclusive, we made use of it every day. The staff behind the bar were great and very friendly. There was also a waitress, Aurika, who provided drinks service to your sun beds. Aurika was brilliant and got to know our regular drinks order and always managed to serve everyone, even when the pool area was busy. We also spent a couple of days on the hotel’s private beach area which was also very peaceful and we always managed to get a sunbed. We signed up for movie night on the beach one night too which was a great idea. A separate set of sunbeds were laid out in front of a projector screen. Complimentary popcorn and drinks were also provided. We had lunch most days at the pool bar which served a nice selection of food and provided shaded seating to cool off from the sun in the afternoon. We tried the gyros, baguettes, greek salad and Caesar wrap – all of which were very tasty. The staff were very attentive and provided efficient service. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant almost every night. Each night had a different theme and there was always a large selection of food. The food was replenished regularly so rarely ran out, although sometimes the popular desserts did! There is plenty of seating in the restaurant. The balcony was always busy but we managed to get a table on the rear terrace every night. It was nice and quiet there and also had a breeze. We were served every night by 2 waitresses, Maria and Anastasiia who were lovely. They never left us without a drink and cleared our dirty plates away in good time. On one of the nights, we made use of our included meal at the a la carte restaurant. The pool bar was transformed into this restaurant at night. The staff that served us that night were the same staff that had been serving us in the beach bar at lunch time. Bearing in mind the length of their shift, the service they provided during the evening meal was fantastic. The ambience was that of a fine dining restaurant and the food was of high quality. We had a 3 course meal and essentially a bottle of prosecco all included as part of our all inclusive package. It is recommended to book this early on in your stay as it is popular and there isn’t a huge amount of tables available each night. After dinner we went for a drink outside at the lobby bar. The lobby bar was table service only. There were some areas that it seemed quite hard to get served at as there was not a lot of waiters and waitresses. However, we sat towards the back every time and were served by a brilliant waitress called Maria. She was extremely attentive and despite covering a large area of tables by herself, she never left anyone with an empty glass for long. She made time to speak to us as well and even recommended drinks that weren’t on the menu based on our tastes. The atmosphere at the lobby bar was very relaxing. There was entertainment on every night from about 9:30 – 11:00, mostly singers and dancers which provided a nice background atmosphere. Breakfast was also in the main restaurant and was a varied spread of hot and cold food. There was almost too much choice each day. Coffee was served at the table but tea could be served as part of the breakfast buffet. We never had any issues with coffee service at breakfast. We chose to sit inside in the large air conditioned room for breakfast, although the balcony was always tempting. We hired a car on one of the days which was a very straightforward process through our TUI rep Aoife who was based in the hotel lobby daily. She also gave us a helpful and informative welcome tour on our first morning. We booked an excursion to the Isle of Nisyros through her as well. The excursion to Nisyros was well worth doing. It is about an hour boat journey from the port of Kardamena near the hotel and was a full day on the island. Our tour guide Manolis was excellent and led the tour at a nice leisurely pace as it was a very hot day! Kardamena is only a short drive or bus ride away from the hotel and has a nice selection of restaurants and bars to eat or drink at. We had an evening transfer to the airport on our last day. The night before our departure day, we asked if we would be able to have a complimentary room for a shower after spending our last day at the pool. This was facilitated and our luggage was also stored for us for the day in reception. Overall we were extremely happy with our time at Atlantica Belvedere and we would definitely stay here again! The hotel was clean and tidy and the facilities were great. The staff were all very friendly, efficient, helpful and informative.

We absolutely loved our 7 day stay here! upone arrival we was greeted with a glass or prosseco, hot towel and snack considering this was late at night it was all very welcome. we then got whisked away by golf buggy to our room, this was clean, contactable and a nice sea view. We had some really nice meals here and enjoyed everything we have, including the really nice Greek coffee at breakfast. the communal areas was all clean and very well maintained. there was a slight annoyance with the flies that kept trying to eat us when we was having lunch. the staff was amazing especially the restaurant staff who remembered our order and was so friendly! the Spa was ok indoor pool was freezing and no hot tub/jacuzzi - we had a brilliant massage but we found the spa manager a bit heavy handed with the sales side of it and when we didn't take up the 2nd massage she suggested she become aggressive with us and argumentative but I know that is a separate entity to the hotel and it didn't spoil the holdiday at all. We took the shuttle bus to Kardamena very easily Thanks for such an enjoyable stay!

“Wonderful visit to this hotel”

We loved our holiday here, everything was wonderful! The setting was perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday just before the season finished. The only complaint would be the pool was freezing which I have seen on other reviews. But we will definitely go back we loved it.
