Stayed at Kris mari with 3 other couples for a special birthday. Greeted by a lovely young man, Dan, who was on night reception. Quickly sorted our rooms. The hotel was spotless in all areas and our room on top floor had a fabulous sea view. Beds were comfortable. Sheets and towels changed regularly during our stay and our room was kept spotless by our lovely cleaner. Special mention to George at pool bar along with the chefs.nothing was too much trouble, kept us fed and watered throughout our holiday and always service with a smile. Food at pool bar was fresh and tasty and really inexpensive. Young Jenny , barmaid at evening bar was so friendly and polite. In fact the entire staff team were helpful, approachable and friendly. Would not hesitate to return. Highly reccomend this hotel

great location plenty of lovely bars and restaurants and a small supermarket very close lovely staff, rooms basic but clean my room was overlooking the car park which didn’t bother me although it was quite noisy at breakfast time, my only complaint would be the pool area there are birds nests on each balcony of the top two floors of the hotel meaning loads of birds flying over the pool and area so alot of bird poo and feathers on loungers and in the pool

I wish that I could give the hotel more stars but a number of small things and, in our case, one big issue let the hotel down. First the good points, the hotel is situated in a great position with access to restaurants and bars. The room was basic but internally clean and we had maid service every day. We were slightly worried based on previous reviews but the maid service started in our area at around 10 am. If we weren't ready, we used the Do Not Disturb sign but were "maided" later after we had left the room. We purchased air conditioning which was a must when we went. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel friendly especially the pool bar staff. There was no rush for sunbeds, we would go down around 10.15 am and always got beds with an umbrella. The negatives? Firstly a lot of minor issues relating to the room. The room door and the toilet door were opened by pushing a button down. The front door required pressure of 2 hands to open. The bathroom door would lock itself resulting people being locked in on 2 occasions and we had to call the maid for help on the second time (after that we left the door open). On the last day the shower curtain pole, which was an extendable pole, collapsed while some one was in the shower. On 1 occasion, the maid took our towels forgetting to replace them and we had to get some frayed towels from reception. In our room, the only usable power point was not near the beds but across the room. Despite the best efforts of the pool staff, the pool had an insect problem and people often had to brush the insects away while in the pool. Secondly, for us, there was 1 major issue. We like to sit on our balcony a lot, for instance after showering before going out to eat. We ensured that we had a balcony and we were lucky enough to be given a pool (and therefore) sea view. However the balcony was unusable during the day owing to a flock of birds that had constructed, at least, 2 nests in each balcony and the birds would fly in and out of the nests, sometimes only a few feet away (or closer) from people sitting on the balcony There was also the resultant mess of bird poop on the balcony walls and floor. As an aside, this also resulted in cleanliness issues in the swimming pool area on the ground and sunbeds. It appears that it was only the top 2 levels of this side of the hotel affected by this issue. Overall, we think that this is a good hotel but there were somethings that let it down.

“Won’t be coming back”

Lovely location near the beach. Some of the staff were pleasant . Air con was extra charge . The atmosphere was okay . Rooms looked okay upon arrival but the shower curtain was not fit for purpose. Lovely location near the beach. Some of the staff were pleasant . Air con was extra charge . The atmosphere was okay . Rooms looked okay upon arrival but the shower curtain was not fit for purpose. It was short and we had to use towels to stop water going everywhere. It was going across the toilet not round the shower cubicle. Not sure when it was last washed We were on holiday for 8 days and they didn’t bother changing our bedding and they were happy to hang dirty towels back on the rail outside, after we had put them on the floor to get them changed . The sewage smell from the sink was that bad, we had to keep the bathroom door shut. Breakfast was terrible. Hardly anything and it’s the same every day. If you like ham and cheese on toast , this is your hotel.
