This hotel is a true gem. We spent a week here, bed and breakfast from 10th September 2023. It is a small hotel but you dont get diamonds as big as bricks and this was definitely a diamond. Everything about this hotel was just what we wanted in a holiday. The hotel itself is around a 30 minute walk along the coast from Kardamaina. However there is also a bus outside the front of the hotel that can take you there in 10 min. Its a family run hotel, extremely clean communal areas, friendly staff, all very welcoming and also all extremely helpful. Rooms basic but very clean and it was wonderfully quiet at night. Pool area lovely with plenty of sunbeds. Breakfast consisted of cereal, toast, some fruit, yohurt and honey, however you could request other things at a small cost. A wide variety of snacks are available throughout the day. The bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. The hotel provide a Greek themed night which was great fun, with delicious food and fabulous greek dancing. Its and extra cost but worth it. The walk to the town is very scenic along the beach road and there are some great beach bars along the route. Our favourite was Altlantic beach bar. Great snacks and drinks with free sunbeds. We were looking for a relaxing break and this hotel more than fit the bill. Its so chilled out and the perfect place to recharge batteries. We will definitely be returning. Hopefully very soon

We have recently returned from a wonderful Holiday in Kos, staying at Sunny View Hotel just outside the resort of Kardamaina. It is a 3 star family run hotel that gave 5 star treatment. We had very warm welcome on arrival from George and Francis the family owners. The staff were always helpful from cleaning lady to management. Our room was exceptionally clean, and serviced daily. The Hotel was also extremely clean with the pools and gardens very well kept. There were plenty of Sun beds and shades. Inclusive simple breakfast was ample to start the day, with greek yoghurt, honey, toast , fruits and cereals. Cooked breakfast available, very cheap. Snacks available throughout the day and also a good menu of home cooked evening meals at very reasonable prices. Our Ground floor room had a secluded patio and was lovely, with mountain and sea views and plenty of sun. The nearest beach was a 10min walk, but we hired a car and it only took 2 mins, and we were able to really explored this reasonably small island, most places are within 30 minute drive, and airport transfers only 10 mins. A lovely autumn break, great weather and setting. I'm sure we will return.

Wonderful place to spend a couple of weeks. The hotel is family owned and they (and the rest of the staff) are friendly and could not have done more to make our stay the best. The food and drinks are great and reasonably priced. Despite being right at the end of the season, everything was clean and bright and the pool area was a haven. No shortage of loungers and a mix of position to optimise your enjoyment. We were looking f,or a peaceful break and so the location was perfect. Regular bus into Kardamena (€1.80) or a taxi (€7). If you're a walker, the village/town is a couple of km but you can take a route along the shore where there are plenty of places to quench your thirst or rest up. Addressing some negative comments on other posts: Yes - the beds are firm. Great for me but I understand not what everyone is used to. Unfriendly staff - not something we experienced, in fact we found very much the reverse. Maybe a little respect works both ways. Location - Google the location. It is not right on the coast (800m), nor is it in the town. If a beach front hotel on the outskirts of town is what you want-its not for you. If you want peace ✓ Only niggle, quite a few buses every day from bigger hotels down the road but tbh, we tuned them out easily. Things not right ... Tell the team, they aren't psychic. We had a couple of things needed fixing and they were done very quickly. Would we go again - we've already booked for next year.

Great hotel, holidayed in Greece for many years and this is the first time we could put all our clothes away usually not much storage but these rooms had more than enough. The family were really helpful food was really good, breakfast was basic but ample to fill you up, the homemade lemon marmalade was amazing. It is fairly remote but the bus stop is across the road and taxi back was 7€. Great holiday
