A really friendly hotel with very welcoming reception staff, particularly Alex and Eri. All the staff speak excellent English and they work hard to satisfy your needs. We asked for a ground floor room, as there are no lifts and a new room was prepared for us while we had dinner. Regarding accessibility, there are steep flights of steps from the reception to the pool area and also down to the restaurant. There are ramps around the site, but the routes would then be longer to reach these places.There were numerous push chairs and a few wheelchairs, so wheeled access is feasible. The plot of land is long and thin, moving from the main hotel, pool and splash zone, through blocks of hotel rooms, then idyllic and very peaceful bungalow rooms, and finally to the beach, bar and small pool. The room (G4102) was spacious and clean, if rather characterless with no pictures on the walls. There was a fridge and kettle provided, plus ample space for clothes. The shower was large, powerful and warm. The water floods into the bathroom easily, so you have to direct the jets carefully! Small bottles of water were provided on the first day, then we filled our drinking bottles each day in order to make hot drinks. We brought latte sachets and herbal tea for drinks in the room. The food in the main restaurant was plentiful and wide ranging, with themed nights for Greek, Italian and Mexican dishes. The beach bar food was not to our taste, with pizza and dubious burgers, but was very popular with families. The main pool was our favourite. It was quite crowded but peaceful. The beach bar pool was more spacious for sun beds, but the music was loud and intrusive for us. The sun beds were not particularly comfortable, but we have been spoilt in other hotels with padded sunbed cushions. The pool towels were available with a 5€ deposit each and could be changed 3 times a week. The animation team, led by Matilda, was very enthusiastic and they put on very energetic dance shows most nights, with a few visiting shows (Greek dancing, belly dancing) to give them some respite. The daytime activities were somewhat limited, we saw yoga, volleyball and water aerobics, but is was entertaining to watch the rehearsals for the evening shows. The splash zone seemed very popular with the younger children.

“Very disappointing”

I really don't understand some of the reviews for this Hotel because my stay at this hotel was really disappointing on the whole. The main problem we had was at meal times. I really don't understand some of the reviews for this Hotel because my stay at this hotel was really disappointing on the whole. The main problem we had was at meal times. Regular shortage of cups glasses, dishes,cutlery. Even a shortage of tables to sit at most of the time. Most mornings we came down and couldn't even get a coffee as there were never any cups. Having to keep going up to staff to ask for basic things is just not on. Maybe the hotel had overbooked as there was also a problem in the main bar and it was difficult to find a table in there. Also, something needs to be organised in the dining room so that guests are not constantly dodging each other or dodging food trolleys. Total chaos. Sunbeds were hard to get and very uncomfortable. Lack of information. On arrival at most hotels you are normally given a map of the grounds, information on entertainment mealtimes etc. but nothing here. Definitely not a four star hotel, probably pushing 3. On the whole the cleaning staff were amazing, however one of our family members did have to complain about a cot mattress which was absolutely filthy with stains all over it. Entertainment was virtually non existent. Not even music around the pool during the daytime. We were really looking forward to this holiday as we came with other family members but we definitely would not return. Improvements are definitely required.
