My husband and I stayed at the Lassi Hotel for two weeks from 17 September until 1 October 2025 and I can't praise it highly enough. We had a wonderful stay. We were met at reception, checked in, and taken to our rooms very swiftly. Our luggage was already in our room waiting for our arrival. I had read previous reviews recommending sea view rooms as the sunsets were magnificent, so I emailed the hotel ahead to request one. Unfortunately, at the time of our visit all sea view rooms had already been taken, so, I was given Room 302 overlooking the pool. I was quite happy with that, as my usual request for a room on holiday is 'high floor, overlooking the pool'. I may have already requested that while making the booking. The room was great, two single beds pushed together, plenty of hanging space, and lots of hangers. The only downside was, a lack of drawer space. The bathroom had recently been refurbished and it was lovely, with a corner shower which had good water pressure, and plenty of hot water continuously. Toiletries were also provided, and good quality toilet paper, which was replenished as necessary. The beds and towels were changed every two days and the room was cleaned daily. The balcony had a table and two chairs, it also had a washing line. The balcony had a lovely view of the pool and the surrounding mountainside. The pool was kept clean, there were plenty of comfortable sunbeds which could be accessed at any time. No need to go early and reserve a sunbed with a towel. The breakfast was self service and catered for everyone's needs. Fresh and tinned fruit, different flavoured yogurts, a selection of cereals, full English breakfast, continental breakfast, tea, coffee, milk, orange juice, water, selection of cakes, jams, and a self service toaster. The hotel did serve a small selection of snacks at lunch time, but we preferred to go up to the local café for a beer and lunch. Mel's Café and Diner, which I would highly recommend. Portions are big enough to share. The hotel is located on the edge of the strip and is a six minute walk up a small hill. At the top of the hill, turn right and you will be spoiled for choice where to eat. We tried to eat in a different restaurant every night. There's plenty to choose from. We tried; Nefeli, Butlers House, Xylofurnos, Kefalos, Ionio, Trata, Da Veronica, Retseto, Sto Psito, and Logos Grand View Cocktail Pool Bar. Our favourite was Butlers House. The Logos Grand View Cocktail Pool Bar has amazing views and a beautiful sunset. On a Sunday, Xylofurnos has a great Greek night, but it's worth booking as it's very popular. Da Veronica had regular entertainment which was good. We also walked into Argostoli a few times. It's about a forty minute walk and easy if done during the day. We took a taxi back to the hotel one evening and it cost us ten euros. There are plenty of shops and churches in Argostoli, as well as coffee shops and restaurants. We had dinner in the Momento Restaurant overlooking the water, but we preferred to eat closer to our hotel. I would definitely recommend staying at the Lassi Hotel. It has everything you need.

“September stay”

Just returned from a lovely peaceful stay at the lassi staff are amazing and attentive and nice to see look after the many cats here . Breakfast very nice and lovely terrace to sit on to enjoy whilst eating g or a drink at night watching the sunset .

We had a lovely 14 nights stay in Lassi Hotel at the beginning of September. Location is excellent, two beaches in a just few minutes walk. Close to the main street with all the restaurants. 10 minutes taxi ride from Agrostoli. Very helpful staff. Nothing was ever a problem. The room was very clean. Very relax atmosphere. Lovely pool. Excellent selection for a breakfast. We are already booking our stay for the next year.

Just back from a week long stay at the Lassi Hotel. From the minute you arrive the welcome is fantastic at the check in and your luggage taken to your room. We were given a triple room for 2 of us and a pool view. We paid for the fridge, air con and safe which was worth every penny. The hotel and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The balcony was very small but nothing to be done about that. Pool area clean, plenty of beds and there is never more than a few people in the pool at once. Breakfast - plenty of choice and items kept topped up by attentive staff who cleared the tables frequently. Location excellent for beach and choice of restaurants - our favourite was sto psito amazing views of the sunset and fabulous food a short walk from the hotel on the road to Fanari. Went on a trip to the Drogarati caves and the underground Lake Melissani. Also walked to Argostoli several times (20min walk) and taxied back. Weather was gorgeous about 26-30 degrees whilst we were there. Definitely want to go back to this beautiful island and this amazing hotel.
