Our stay at Atlantica Nissaki Beach Hotel was truly wonderful, and we left with so many beautiful memories. The hotel has everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday — beautiful surroundings, stunning sea views, comfortable rooms, delicious food, great activities, and a lovely atmosphere throughout the entire property. We especially enjoyed spending time by the sea, relaxing at the gazebo, and enjoying the peaceful moments surrounded by such beautiful scenery. The entertainment and activities were also a lovely addition to our stay. Every evening had its own atmosphere, and it was wonderful to have something different to enjoy after a day at the beach. Most importantly, the people working here make the experience even better. Every member of staff we met was friendly, polite, and always ready to help. A special thank you to Suzanna and the whole reception team for their kindness and professionalism. And once again, I have to mention Lily from Reception. Lily has such a wonderful way of making people feel comfortable. She has a natural warmth and positive energy that you immediately notice. She was attentive without ever being intrusive, professional without losing her personal touch, and always greeted us with genuine kindness. What impressed us most was how seriously she takes her work. She listened carefully, understood what we needed, and always tried to make things easier for us. You can truly see that hospitality comes naturally to her and that she genuinely enjoys taking care of people. Lily is one of those people you remember long after leaving a hotel. Her attitude, maturity, communication, and beautiful personality are something very special. Atlantica Nissaki Beach is lucky to have someone like Lily on its team. Thank you to everyone who made our holiday so enjoyable, and especially to Lily for adding so many little moments of kindness to our stay. We would happily return to this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place, wonderful hospitality, and a team that truly cares about its guests. ❤️

“Sunsets and wasps”

Only negative, as a non driving couple, was the transfers to corfu Town and excursions. Couple of hiccups on arrival but they were swiftly dealt with by guest relations and tui rep Food, entertainment, cleanliness and facilities are great, something for everyone. Special mention for giorgo… more

Only negative, as a non driving couple, was the transfers to corfu Town and excursions. Couple of hiccups on arrival but they were swiftly dealt with by guest relations and tui rep Food, entertainment, cleanliness and facilities are great, something for everyone. Special mention for giorgos in the main restaurant, nothing was too much trouble for him and everything was delivered with a lovely smile. We ate in the Mediterranean and Italian restaurants, which were both excellent, but need to be booked in advance, all in all a very lovely week away 😊 be warned, there are lots and lots of wasps!

This was my second time at the hotel (my husband’s first). I first visited with my Mum 8 years ago. The airport is fairly chaotic though & finding out where we went to get our taxi was quite stressful. Not great after an early morning flight departure. We arrived at about 1.30pm by private taxi transfer. We were greeted outside the hotel - a nice touch you might think but no, it was to tell us that they couldn’t check us in due to a power cut. Obviously couldn’t be helped. Offered a sit down & a welcome drink. We went to sit outside on the patio but I said to my husband we might as well go to lunch upstairs as I knew where the restaurant was from my previous visit - an option not suggested to us by reception staff….. We came downstairs after lunch & after another half an hour could check in. We’d been given room 111 - a junior suite swim up - I realised this was the room I’d had 8 years ago! The position of the hotel is great - you can see over the Ionian to Corfu Town & over to Albania too. You’d be hard pushed to get a better view anywhere else on the island. The room was fairly spacious but be warned don’t bring a lot of clothes as there’s nowhere to put them apart from a 3 ft wide wardrobe (which the provided hangers don’t fit) & 2 very small half width drawers. I ended up hanging clothes off the tv & floor lamp! The tables that are in the rooms need to be changed into tables with drawers underneath them! The bathroom was a good size but the shower flooded under the door into the hallway on numerous occasions (it did 8 years ago too). Almost a permanent smell of drainage too in the room- even with the bathroom door shut. Not sure if it’s because we were a swim up. The highlight of the room was the very large terrace - room enough for 3 sunbeds plus a table & chairs. No mattresses on the sunbeds throughout the hotel - not a 4 star experience & considering the ages of some guests (we are in our 50’s) probably not very comfortable for most people. We booked up for the free coach transfer to Corfu Town as our pre booked TUI walking tour to the old town was cancelled. Dropped off at 10am, picked up at 2pm - we had a fabulous time in the Venetian old town & found a fab place for brunch down a little side street. Back to the hotel - the variety of food was very good although like most inclusives the food wasn’t very hot by the time we got back to our table. Found lunches better than dinners. Can’t comment on the desserts as I don’t really have them. The staff are very welcoming in the restaurant & it wasn’t too much trouble getting a waiter to bring us a chilled bottle of water for breakfast. We usually found something to eat. A change of music would be good in the evenings as it was a bit “club classics” & not a great ambience for evening dinner! The drinks were ok - local brands. I had to stop drinking the Prosecco neat as it woke me up a couple of times with acid reflux. The bar staff are very friendly. There’s no table service though in the bar or by the pool. The lobby in the evening did get very busy after dinner with not a seat to be had inside. The evening entertainment was ok - not our sort of thing. We’d usually take a drink or two to our room & watch our iPad or read. As others have said the lifts are very very temperamental. No more than 4 average people can get in them. Or two people with their cases. Again people of a certain age would have struggled. On a couple of days they didn’t work at all. We went to both à la cartes which were nice enough but nothing special. Always makes a difference to served for a change. I had salmon for my main at the Mediterranean restaurant & when it came realised I’d had it the night before in the main restaurant which is fine. I’m not one of those people who bangs on about food being used again - it stops food waste. Unfortunately my husband was ill on our penultimate day & spent all of it in bed. We’d eaten nearly the same at breakfast- we both had porridge, then I’d had fruit & he’d had yoghurt. The night before we’d eaten at the Italian & there was nothing to suggest that anything was wrong with the food there. I was fine but I’d been using the hand sanitizer before & after meals. My husband started being ill fairly soon after breakfast. I went to lunch & dinner on my own. I took my kindle with me for dinner & sat & read in the lobby - I took two drinks with me when I found my seat - sat on one if the sofas by the main doors. When I wanted more drinks I asked a barman who was collecting glasses & he brought me two more as I would have lost my seat going to the bar. I did notice an ambulance pulling up as I was sitting there. The next day we were going home. My husband didn’t want breakfast so I went on my own. Then we packed up & checked out. The TUI reps weren’t helpful & it was a bit every man for himself asking the taxi drivers myself who they were here to pick up. Another ambulance arrived to pick someone up while we were waiting. A nice journey back to the airport. Some of the queuing for TUI flight check in is outside though but it’s well organised. So all in all it was ok - wouldn’t return no, not with my husband being ill. This is about our sixth TUI Blue for Two & I’m giving up on them as we’ve only ever been to a really fantastic one in Crete. So to sum up - great views & nice friendly staff but also no room storage, smelly room & a risk of D&V.
