A very nice family hotel in perfect location near Issos beach, restaurants and supermarkets: perfect service, very helpful staff, everything clean and fresh. Nice kitchenette. An absolute gem - highly recommended!

A really lovely, very clean, air conditioned, self catering apartment with all you need for a relaxing holiday! Anastasia & Tagis are great hosts offering superb service always with a smile. The swimming pool is immaculate and extremely well maintained. The poolside bar/restaurant is very clean and welcoming with a good choice of reasonably priced food and drinks. The gardens also offer more space to relax in beautiful surroundings. We have already booked again for next year!! Be warned St George South is a captivating little town that you will want to visit again and again!

I visited Anastasia Apartments in Agios Georgios (South), Corfu, for a week in August 2017. This apartment hotel is located conveniently 300 m from the main street by the beach. This was convenient also because I used the Lord travel agency on the main street and the bus stop for the tours (as well as for local buses) was just 300 m away from the hotel. There were no street lights on the street to the center, and I would recommend taking a flashlight with you to help you walk back to the hotel after sunset. I had a one-room apartment on the first floor. The decoration was simple. I appreciated the large wardrobe with plenty of cloth hangers. The balcony view was to the neighboring house and a field; the fridge was big, and the bathroom was big enough (shower, no bath). I booked this hotel because there was a pool and a restaurant, and it was said to have a very friendly owner. This was a good choice, although I might choose another village/Corfu town if visiting Corfu again. I enjoyed the lovely pool when returning sweaty from my excursions in August heat, as well as the reasonably priced meals from the restaurant. The food is ok. Not fantastic but fine. I was often given an extra dessert for free; a piece of delicious cake or refreshing fruits. The staff was indeed very friendly and chatty (the owner in particular), and it made my stay as a single traveler much more comfortable.

This is a wonderful, little hotel in the little place of Agios Georgios in Corfu. Not the place you would go for partying, but a relaxing place. This is a wonderful, little hotel in the little place of Agios Georgios in Corfu. Not the place you would go for partying, but a relaxing place. There is little to do in Agios Georgios, but if you rent a car, the island is little, and you can enjoy an exiting holiday. The hotel owners are sweet people, who'll help you with any need. They have a restaurant that makes ordinary food, good tasting, not with a "wow"- effect, but lovely, tasty. The pool is very little, but then again gets heated up more easily than bigger ones, and a good choice if you don't want to go down to the beach. There are always enough beds to choose from. The rooms are just what you need for your holiday. Not rooms where you want to stay, but okay enough. The beds are very hard, so ask for an extra mattress. There is nothing to sit in the room. I would have loved a chair or a sofa to be able to sit and rest, but there is a veranda for each room, and there you can find chairs and enjoy your breakfast. There is a little kitchen space there, just okay for an easy meal. The bathroom is little, and the shower will always make your floor wet, but it's okay. The only minus here is that you have to buy your own toilet paper (you get one when you come...) The seaside is only some minutes walk away, and there you'll find many restaurants and also supermarkets with anything you need for a great holiday. There you'll also find buses going into Corfu City. Remember to go to the Sea Gulls restaurant! The best in that little cosy town :) All in all, this is a place where I'd wish much better beds, but otherwise I love it.
