Overall the hotel was good and great for families lots of things for them to do. The staff are helpful and extremely friendly. We stayed all inclusive and the food was of good quality and variety salad bar was excellent. The entertainment was good in the evening. Now for the negative which is important but did not affect our holiday. The furniture throughout the hotel is shabby and needs updating the bedding was old and scruffy. The housekeeping could do with improving the staff worked well with what was available. As it has new owners I am sure things will improve in these areas in time.

“OK hotel - not 4 star”

This hotel is huge and far from the 4 star it claims to be. Rooms: We had a really bad room that smelt foisty, air con very temperamental, really run down in need of revamp. My sister and family had a bungalow that was lovely, spacious and clean near the river. Buffet / food; Buffet really busy and not a lot of choice. Food that was available was really nice. Kids struggled. Snack bars ok, pizza bar pizza made fresh, pasta bar good, panini bar do a nice club sandwich, ice cream bar good and they make fresh pancakes at the ice cream bar and serve mini cakes and desserts. Pools; Pools good but all really busy and can never get a sun bed but there’s lots of grass areas to cop a squat near the pools. Pool bars ok but you will Q a lot for anything, drinks, snacks, food. Beach: Beach is beautiful you will need water shoes a bit rocky but more likely to get a sun bed without getting up in the middle of the night. Other: Elvis bar 10 mins walk from hotel worth going to, Elvis show only on a Friday and Tuesday night but still top notch entertainment on other nights. 1 euro boat crossing over the river to beach bars, restaurants, shop, burger bar and excursion bookings we booked a boat trip and Corfu town bus with Rita just across the river. 10 euro bus to Corfu town which is lovely you can go on a day trip or night trip. Good for shopping. Overall; Overall we had a fab holiday and there was 3 family’s and a total of 13 of us. The kids loved it, location is stunning, pools good, entertainment not so good. Very busy hotel and despite having a great time as we made the most of it we would not return .

During my vacation at this resort, I noticed several issues that I think are worth mentioning. My room was located in the largest building of the resort. It was quite small, with an uncomfortable folding bed, and, most importantly, it had an unpleasant smell. The room was only cleaned and the towels were only changed after I complained at the reception. The building itself is very old, and the elevators looked like they were from the last century. 😄 As for the swimming pools, I only used the children's pool because of my son. However, I was very cautious because it didn't look very clean and there didn't seem to be much supervision. The biggest disappointment for me was the beach. The water was relatively clear, but it was extremely shallow. After walking about 20 meters into the sea, the entire area was covered with thick seagrass, making it very unpleasant to walk through. If you continued past that area, you were already beyond the zone reserved for boats and jet skis. The seabed beyond the seagrass was muddy and uncomfortable, so swimming in deeper water wasn't really an option. In the end, you were forced to stay close to the shore. The queues at the resort bars were another major downside. No matter what time of the day or night, there was always a long wait. In my opinion, the resort should increase the number of staff working at the bars. The quality of the drinks was also quite poor. Apart from the beer, the alcoholic beverages were of very low quality. Overall, the resort itself was well maintained. The restaurants were spacious, the food selection was good, and the restaurant staff provided good service. There were also different entertainment activities every evening, which was a nice touch. Considering that this is not a budget resort, I felt it was fair to share the issues I experienced. This is entirely my personal opinion, and I hope my review helps future guests make a more informed decision.
