“Perfect”

just returned from a weeks stay, loved everything about our stay, staff are amazing, location perfect near the beach, and restaraunts, cant wait to return next year.

Just left this fantastic hotel and all I can say is… wow! Although this is rated a 3 star property, the staff and management make this 5 star. Marcela you are amazing, thank you for all the laughs and for staying up late so we could watch the England game! (No tequila! 🫣). We learnt a new word (malxxxa) and will be using it at home from now on! Spiros is a quiet, helpful and very friendly manager/owner - he found us a toaster so we could have breakfast in the room! The lady at breakfast was very lovely also. We loved the garden for sunbathing, plenty of space and comfortable beds. The lunches were really good, gorgeous Greek salad and fantastic chips. Location is perfect - just a ten minute walk onto the main strip and harbour area. Rooms were clean and bins emptied daily. Overall we will most definitely be back to this fantastic place, we have made amazing memories and are so glad we chose Palmyra for our first trip to Nidri!

After reading the positive reviews from 2025 we booked for 2 wks this June, hoping they were still substantiated, we were pleased to find that they were. The Palmyra is in a great location, we could see the sea from our balcony and could walk down a short path to get there from the rear of the hotel, the beach is shingle and narrow and the sea nice and shallow, there are plenty of beds to hire and wow what a beautiful view! Walk back up to the rd from the front of the hotel and there is a long rd with plenty of shops, cafe's, supermarkets, chemists etc etc. The bus stop is opposite the church if you want to use it. Down the next street to the front there is the harbour and an array of good restaurants, at the far end there are a couple of arcades for the kids. The Plamyra has a chilled out and friendly vibe, we felt very at home there and were reluctant to come home. Our room was a triple at the rear (room 325) it had 1 double and 1 single bed, a small kitchen area and a good balcony. The bathroom was small but sufficient, the room was quiet and the beds were comfy. The pool and bar area were clean and tidy, there is a grassed area aswell as the decking around the pool, toilets and showers were down a few steps by the pool, a nice area to sit and eat by the bar area too. Marsela works tirelessly to make sure everyone is happy and has everything they need, Spiros makes great burgers and is also on hand if you need anything. There is a buffet breakfast on offer between 8am and 10am each day that costs 14€ pp, my husband had the full english breakfast for 13€ and said it was great, there is a laundry service for 15€ if needed, a book shelf in the reception area which was good for me as i forgot my book. The cleaners came in everyday to empty bins and make your beds. We didnt have a hairdryer but as soon as i mentioned it to Marsela she had one put in our room, the safe is free and is locked with a key, the aircon was 7€ per day. The wifi was good throughout the hotel and we always had a signal. Marsela recommended some restaurants and even made the booking for us, we were very happy with her suggestions. We had a good laugh while there, its a quiet hotel but it was nice to sit at the bar and have a good chat with the other guests and Marsela. There are so many guests who return year after year, we have already booked to return to the Palmyra next yr and cant wait. I came home feeling fully recharged and relaxed.

As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the staff were very welcoming. I was checked in efficiently and allocated my room. The room was fairly basic but had everything I needed for my stay, including a fridge and safe although no hairdryer, which wasnt a problem for me. Beds were comfy and plenty of storage space. Air con was 50 euros a week which I chose not to have as I cannot tolerate it for any length of time. The balcony doors were fully fitted with mosquito nets which meant air was getting into the room and kept it at a reasonable temperature for me. The room faced the sea and although it was obscured by trees, it was still a pleasant view. Bins in the rooms were emptied each day, although I was missed one day for some reason. Change of towels was a bit hit and miss. Sometimes it was every 2 or 3 days but then I went 5 days so not really sure how that works. Bedding was changed halfway through my stay. I would say the rooms were just tidied, rather than cleaned each day and would probably be the only slight issue at this hotel. Not being much of a drinker, I didnt really visit the bar much, but the atmosphere in there seemed to be pleasant and friendly. I did have a couple of bar snacks there which were tasty and adequate. The pool area is not overly big but probably enough for the amount of guests using it. I dont sunbathe so didnt use the pool area. The location of the hotel is ideal and down a small side road away from the main road which kept it a bit quieter. It is right at the start of Nidri so ideal for all the bars, restaurants and harbour, as well as the shopping street which runs parallel with the harbour. Lots of lovely restaurants n Nidri and lovely scenery. Traffic down the main street in the evening can be a nuisance, especially as there are no entry signs and pedestrian signs. Overall I had a lovely 2 weeks in Nidri and would stay at this hotel again, due to the location and lovely staff/management
