The Petros hotel is located on the edge of town, it’s a 10-15 minute walk into Tsilivis and a further 10 to the Beach. We booked through Jet2, a deluxe double and a family room. The rooms were modern, well fitted, excellent showers in both with balconies. Pool area was great, plenty of sun beds and no fighting for them. Nice pool with children’s section. The pool bar was fab- staff great, food great (approx 10euro for salads; toasties+fries 4-5 euro). All beers and cocktails; mythos 5 euro a pint, cocktails 9 euro. All the staff were great. Just be aware there is tourist tax- 5 euro per night per room paid in cash. One downside is the air con- it’s not provided with the booking and is in my opinion very expensive. The family room had 2 units that cost 15 euro per day; the double room 1 unit at 10 euro per day. They offer 5% discount for cash. It cost us an extra 120 euro for 5 days. The units can’t be left on either when you’re not in the room. This was the only downside except for the walk into town/beach if you don’t like that.

Just returned from a very pleasant weeks stay at the Petros hotel. A very clean and well kept hotel with very friendly staff who always willing to help. We had requested a second floor junior suit and on arrival due to an emergency our requested room was not immediately ready. We were offered an alternative room which we could transfer out of the next day or the option to wait until after 6pm when the room would be vacated and clean ready for us, We agreed to wait for our preferred room to be available. What impressed me was the flexibility the reception team showed to help meet our room request. This helpful nature was evident everywhere in the hotel and made you feel a welcomed guest. Very friendly atmosphere around the pool/bar with the young staff always interacting with people. The location is good for access to the resort pubs and restaurants with a couple to stop off at during the 10/15 minute walk. The beach is a slightly longer walk which we did nearly every day and by the end of the holiday we had had enough of the walk so if you are out and out beach fans may need to consider the location for your needs. We were aware of the charge for the air con, safe and resort tax so not a surprise when we arrived but did hear people complain they were not aware. Really enjoyed the resort with its many varied bars and restaurants and the team at Petros work really hard to make sure you enjoy your hotel stay.

Lovely hotel clean and friendly staff. Bed was comfy and pillows. We only did breakfast one morning as we ate out alot. It was ok not a lot of choice vegan bacon and sausage eggs and toast.. we stayed in junior suite , only thing I can fault it for was the shower. It flooded the whole bathroom floor. We told reception but they didn't bother to do anything nice about it. Location it's around 10/15 mins walk to bars and restaurants. There is a supermarket 5 mins walk which was good and Sandras bar was nice not far from hotel lovely man who works there Costas. Nice drinks and breakfast was good. Due to location I wouldn't go again.. the beach was 30 minutes walk as well.

Petros hotel; Location - quite a long walk into the centre of tsilivi. Has a very good supermarket near by which we used a lot as it was much cheaper than the pool bar prices. Room - overall were a good size. We were in the family rooms at the back, they could do with being a bit more sound proof… more

Petros hotel; Location - quite a long walk into the centre of tsilivi. Has a very good supermarket near by which we used a lot as it was much cheaper than the pool bar prices. Room - overall were a good size. We were in the family rooms at the back, they could do with being a bit more sound proofed. Also the bathroom could use a bit more attention to detail. Beds were ok, but could use a new mattress. Breakfast - only tried it once, food was cold by the time you sat down to eat it. Not many options for ‘hot’ food. Ended up eating out every day. Pools - the kids splash pool was ok but the umbrella never had water running through it, also not allowed to put sunbeds near it. Main pool was lovely. On the last day we had a late flight, advised they wanted 50€ to keep the room on. Cost us 140€ for aircon as the room had 2 units. Although we had a lovely holiday we would not return, mostly due to location and comfort.
