This hotel is perfection!!! From the staff to the amenities it really is that good. My sister and I managed to book one of the suites with a pool and the view was outstanding, truly amazing room as well. The staff are so kind and willing to go above and beyond, especially the golf cart drivers. The food was great every night and the bar area is so serene and laidback, the staff there were wonderful too. Would love to come back again 🌟

Hotel Review + Enzo, Thanasis, Gregory, Spiros, Kostas, Konstantinos x2 incredibly good at their jobs and worth highlighting. - Funicular too slow, makes travelling to the beach or your room a tedious affair. Waiting for it makes it pointless. - Not enough signposts when avoiding the use of the funicular to locate your room. - Lighting at night could be better along the hill. + Spectacular views, however there is an andoned hotel across from this one. + Spacious rooms. + Stocked mini fridge. + Food upon late arrival. + Plenty of food in the buffet with variety. - Steep walks + Friendly staff. + Beach bar included in all inclusive. + Branded spirits/alcohol included within all inclusive. - Can't flush toilet roll. + Some English TV channels, the usual BBC and Sky news, but also National Geographic and two called ViaSat which are English/American. - Shower floods. - Crack in the shower wall. + Close to nature/plenty of birds. + Attentive staff who approach and ask if you'd like anything. - Occasional strong smell of sewage. - Isolated. - App is poor. - Aged hotel decor. - Rooms suffering from wear and tear. + Room cleaners/staff are thorough and renew towels and other condiments every day. + Sauna is nice and private. - Steam room not available. + The White Pearl a la carte restaurant was nice, but didn't fully meet the expected standards of a 5* hotel. - The room felt humid at times, the AC unit wasn't easy to work and would shut off on occasions. + Good buggy. + Staff informative and forthcoming with areas and points of interest on the island. + ATM at the bottom of the hill outside the hotel complex, but accessible and free to use. + Shampoo/shower gel/conditioner/body lotion and other toiletries free and stocked up in the room. + Hair dryer, iron and ironing board, umbrellas and safe all within the room.

I booked this hotel as part of a TUI package holiday, and unfortunately, the experience wasn’t what I’d have hoped it to be. Let me start with the positives — because it wasn’t all bad! 🌟 The Positives: * Staff: The reception team were absolutely wonderful – always smiling, friendly, and willing to help with any queries. A special shoutout to Magdalene at reception and Nikos on buggy duty – they were both fantastic and really went above and beyond. * Bar staff were also consistently cheerful and attentive, always circulating to take orders and make sure guests were happy. * The views were absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is perched on a cliffside, and our deluxe room had stunning sea views that genuinely left us jaw-dropped. The private pool attached to our room looked lovely, but unfortunately wasn’t very usable — debris from surrounding trees made it dirty again within half an hour of being cleaned. Staff did send someone in the mornings, but the problem quickly returned. * The room itself was spacious and modern, with great potential if better maintained. 😕 The Negatives: 
Unfortunately, there were several issues that made the stay far from relaxing — and certainly not worth the high price tag. * Transport around the resort: The property is built on a steep hill, and with the ski lift out of order, the only way to get around was by calling reception for a golf buggy. In theory this sounds fine, but with only one buggy in operation (that fits around six people), wait times were typically 15–20 minutes or more just to get to reception, the pool, or the restaurant. * Pool and Spa: The indoor pool was freezing cold and felt dated — not what you’d expect from a “spa resort.” I’ve stayed in 3-star hotels with a better wellness setup. I booked a Cretan massage, listed as 70 minutes for €138 (negotiated to €110), and while the massage itself was good, it only lasted 60 minutes, which was disappointing. * Food: This was by far the biggest letdown. On the first day, the buffet was busy and the food was fresh and replenished often. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were great initially — the tzatziki in particular was delicious. But once a few coach groups left and the hotel got quieter, the food quality plummeted. Breakfast items like eggs, bacon, pastries, and hash browns were stale and clearly left sitting out for hours. Lunch and dinner were no better — food sat drying out under heat lamps and became practically inedible. Even after mentioning this to the staff several times, nothing changed. I understand it was near the end of the season, but that’s no excuse for serving cold, old food at a supposedly luxury resort. * Room maintenance: The air conditioning didn’t work properly, and even after staff came to “fix” it, it still wasn’t cooling. Sleeping in the humidity at night was uncomfortable. * Drain smell: There was also a persistent drain smell around our room area, which was really off-putting. Staff were polite when we mentioned it, but unfortunately the issue was never resolved during our stay. * Lastly, while I understand the tourist tax (€15/night) is standard, it felt a bit excessive given the off-season service and overall experience. 💬 Overall: 
While the staff were truly lovely and the views were spectacular, the overall experience just didn’t live up to the price or the “luxury” label. The resort clearly struggles to maintain facilities and standards as the season winds down, and the combination of stale food, broken amenities, and maintenance issues made the stay more stressful than relaxing. Sadly, I can’t recommend this hotel — unless you’re visiting during peak season and have money to spare.
