We had a great holiday! Lovely food specially at the Greek taverna close to the beach! Amazing food and service! We enjoyed all the activities organized by the entertainment team! From the water gym of Michele, the singing show at the beach bar at night! To Dimitri for his amazing water Zumba e acquapilates! To Fotini always caring with the kids! The entertainment team added so much to our holiday, and we truly appreciated all their hard work. Definitely a place to go!!

We stayed at the hotel for a week in June 2026 for our son’s first holiday. We had the most enjoyable time thanks to the quality of service from the hotel staff. We cannot praise them enough on a number of levels: - providing puréed food for our son - taking time to play and interact with him - helping us with our luggage - regular check-ins throughout the week to ensure we were enjoying our holiday and ask us whether anything could be improved Whilst all staff were very helpful, we are grateful for the exceptional service from particular team members who made the holiday especially memorable: 1. Maria from the beach club 2. Joanna from the beach club 3. Despina from breakfast/beach club 4. Marianna from beach club/ Italian à la carte restaurant 5. Nikolas from reception Overall, the hotel facilities were very good. The facilities on the beach (beach bar, sun loungers etc) were far better than those in neighbouring hotels. We would recommend this hotel to anyone with young children as the staff went above and beyond to ensure our son was happy and comfortable. We had a fabulous 11 nights at this wonderful hotel. We'd checked in already prior to our arrival on the app. Our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived so we were shown to the lobby bar for a drink. Once the room was ready, we were taken straight up and given a tour of the hotel and facilities on the way. We were in a lux me panoramic sea view room and our cases were already in the room when we got there. The room was clean, bright and spacious with a large walk in shower in the bathroom. The balcony had a glass railing so the views were uninterrupted. Air con in the room was very good and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We'd been to a Grecotel before (White Palace in Crete) so knew to pre-book the a la carte restaurants before we arrived. We had no trouble at all booking any of the restaurants at our preferred times. There was even plenty of availability to book when we were there. Our favourite was the Italian but the Asian was also very good. It was my birthday during the holiday and that night we were at the Asian restaurant. The staff brought out a cake and sang happy birthday which was a total surprise but very much appreciated. The Greek restaurant was our least favourite but that's just personal preference. The meze starters were great but we just found the main course too much meat. Unfortunately The Rose restaurant wasn't open during our stay. The main buffet restaurant was also really good. The buffet was perhaps a little smaller than some but the food was very good and everything I had was tasty and warm/hot. The wine in all the restaurants was really good. During the day we prefer the pool to the beach. The beds both round the pool and on the beach are very comfortable with a thick mattress although they are low. As always, people did get up early to reserve beds around the pool. There was a note on the app to say that you couldn't reserve beds with towels before 10am otherwise towels would be removed. This did actually happen on our first day but not after that. Staff around the pool would also bring out spare beds if needed although these were more basic without the comfortable mattress. The problem we had was shade. The sun umbrellas are fixed and you couldn't really move the beds to get both in the shade. There was a grassed area with lots of trees between the pool and beach where you could put one of the more basic beds and have plenty of shade so we actually spent most of the time there, as did quite a few others. It was peaceful and you could see the beach and the pool and you were right next to the beach bar too. There are cabanas you can hire around the pool for €50. We did this on our last day so we knew we'd be around the pool and have shade. In the evening we spent our time at the lobby bar. The drinks are branded and cocktails are all made from scratch. The staff in the lobby bar were brilliant and you didnt have to wait at all to order or for your drinks to arrive. The staff would even remember what drinks you liked and were so friendly. In fact, the staff throughout the hotel were amazing and are a credit to the company. They all work so hard but nothing is too much trouble and all were friendly and smiling. We tend not to return to the same hotel as we like to try somewhere new each year but I would definitely recommend the Dama Dama.

We were pleasantly surprised on our first visit to this hotel, we were a family of six and had three rooms. We were met at reception by a lovely lady who got us a drink and explained all the hotel facilities, she showed us to our rooms where our cases arrived promptly. We had superior rooms , side sea view in block 6, one room was not a sea view but a larger room which was acceptable by one of our group. Pros. Staff are amazing, everyone was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Special mention for Alexa, who was so knowledgeable about wine and such a lovely helpful girl, an asset to the Grecotel, Georgia was also particularly efficient and amiable. Restaurants are very good, our favourite was the Italian followed by the Asian. Sadly the Rose didn’t open until the day we left which we weren’t aware of. We didn’t eat a main meal in the buffet , breakfast was good. Drinks are excellent, quality and variety second to none. The beach bar is great, day and evenings. Cons. The rooms were clean but a little dated, there were no usb points and we had to remove lamp plugs next to bed to charge phones with an adaptor. Couldn’t use my own hair appliance in bathroom as adapter didn’t fit in plug hence used it by the bed with no mirror. Had to ask for a blanket although it was hot outside room was cold and minimal bedding. Pool beds are near on impossible to get unless you have towels on very early in the morning. Beach beds are easier and near to the beach bar, beds are comfortable but very low and difficult to get up from, plus very heavy and difficult to manoeuvre under the parasols. There are lighter beds stacked but shade is a premium. We preferred the beach area, pool water is freezing but very clean, the whole hotel is kept very clean with grass areas and lovely flowers, lots of clean towels available.
