Not usually one to come on and write reviews, but I had to with this one. This was our first stay as a family of 4 at Avra Beach, 2 daughters aged 6 and 1. Starting with the animation team who were so attentive, all the kids & adults were loving it - not forgetting to mention the different entertainment each evening, from live singers, bingo & karaoke. All the bar & hotel staff were great too! Everything about the place was amazing. The location was perfect. A 15 minute taxi ride into the old town, a bus stop outside the hotel both sides, some shops on the row just outside the hotel & plenty of places to rent a car if wanted or needed. To say the snack bar allows you to take food & drinks etc round the pool & beach all day - the place was spotless. They work so hard to keep it so clean and tidy. All round atmosphere was brilliant, the value for money was also brilliant. And finally our room, this was perfect for us 4. The storage for cases to be out the way was great, I really liked the separate toilet and shower too! The comfort of the beds was a nice surprise as sometimes they’re not great but we were so comfy! But most of all, the side sea view from our room and looking out and seeing the old town & ships going into the port in the distance was crazy! We will definitely be returning to Avra Beach. We all miss it already & looking to book our next visit!

“Great first time stay at Avra Beach!”

We have just returned from staying at the Avra Beach for the first time and would definitely recommend! All of the staff were lovely but we could not fault the entertainment team! We have just returned from staying at the Avra Beach for the first time and would definitely recommend! All of the staff were lovely but we could not fault the entertainment team! A big shout out to Tibi, Sam and Bogdad as they ensured a great time for everyone! Lots to do through the day and every night there was some great music, bingo etc. We stayed in a family room which had just been modernised. Overall the room was lovely, just a few finishing touches- there was only 1 mirror by the sink area another would have been useful in the main bedroom when getting ready. There was some wires stuck out of the wall we presumed that maybe a shaver point may be put there but shouldn't really have been left that way. The showers were great and rooms were cleaned everyday. We had a garden view room. The garden area wasnt finished and looked like a mud bath, however this didn't affect our stay at all! Overall we would definitely recommend as the view onto the sea everyday was just stunning! We booked a day trip to symi island - a great trip as tje island is stunning and we also ventured into rhodes town a couple of times

“Amazing hotel and stuff”

It was our first time at Avra, and we honestly couldn’t have been happier. The location is excellent, there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel. You can also book transport directly through the hotel, which makes visiting the Old Town and Lindos (the places we explored) much easier and more affordable. The room was fantastic, we were lucky enough to have one with a sea view, and we couldn’t have been more comfortable. The food was 10/10, very well prepared with plenty of variety. There was a different show every evening. Our favourites were the bingo and karaoke night, as well as the Latin show by Lea (one of the entertainment team). The entertainment team were absolutely AMAZING they work incredibly hard all day and are always on hand to help with anything you need. Special mention to ((Boogie, Lea, Sam and tiby .)) We will definitely be returning next year an excellent hotel with fantastic entertainment.

“Hygiene issue ants in room”

Currently staying at Avra Beach Resort and unfortunately our experience has been affected by how issues have been handled. On arrival, the air conditioning in our room would not turn off and was blowing cold air constantly, making the room uncomfortable, especially for my children. I reported this three times at reception and also asked for a room change, which was refused as the hotel said it was full. Only after the third report did someone come about 30 minutes later to fix it. We then experienced a second issue with ants in the room, which was reported four times. Again, no action was taken until cleaning staff came and confirmed the issue themselves, after which we were moved to another room. While both issues were eventually resolved, the repeated need to report problems and the delays in taking action caused unnecessary stress and disruption to our stay, particularly as we are travelling with children. This is not the level of service expected from an all-inclusive resort, and these situations should have been handled much more promptly. Currently still staying, so hoping management take this feedback seriously.
