We stayed in the Garden View Wing, and our experience was very positive. At first, we were given a room facing the road. To be fair, the room was perfectly fine: clean, quiet, with fully functioning air conditioning and bathroom facilities. However, since we had booked a garden‑view room, we asked for a change — and the administration kindly upgraded us to a much better room with a small terrace, where we enjoyed our short holiday immensely. The hotel is very clean, cozy, and well maintained, and the staff are genuinely friendly. Breakfast and dinner (we had HB) were varied and delicious. We would especially like to mention the restaurant hostess Marina for her warmth, helpfulness, and sincere smile, as well as the waiter Aris for his professional and attentive service.

Had a great solo stay at Sun Beach Resort! The friendly and welcoming staff really made it special, from the bar staff, to the restaurant staff, to the cleaning team, to the entertainment team, and Jacob really goes above and beyond to make sure every guest enjoys their stay. The rooms in the garden wing are a little dated but are clean and have good facilities. Loved having the selection of pools to choose from and great evening entertainment on offer. Would recommend using the shuttle bus into Rhodes town, you can book it using a QR code at reception and it was €9 return on a comfortable air conditioned minibus, that picks you up right outside the hotel. I stayed in the garden wing, and even though the two hotels are connected it does feel like you are in a separate hotel (having to cross a road to get to the other one). Think it would be even weirder in the other building as you have to come to the garden wing for lunch & dinner. However that being said the hotel was lovely, the staff were also lovely. And everyone i spoke to felt friendly and helpful. There's free WiFi that reached even to the beach! Lots of maps! You are given a map of the resort with your key, and there's other maps around the resort which are so helpful for finding your way around. I was all inclusive - worked well for me, i'm not fussy with most foods but if you are it may be a struggle as it isn't the biggest buffet selection. But there are always different  options. The only night I struggled was what seemed to be fish themed night. But even with the themed evenings they still serve a range of Greek foods. However most of it isn't hot - mostly luke warm. The fresh crepes every evening were delicious & hot though, same for the omelette station for breakfast! The drinks had a good selection of cocktails, I tried plenty, and the bar staff don't seem extremely strict on rules (was happy for me to take multiple drinks at a time - i've been to places before were theres a 1 drink limit per person). I had one night at the al la carte included in my stay - there's a choice of a greek, Asian or Italian menu all at the same restaurant. I went for Italian, food was delicous however you do not get a choice of starter - they give you one of each (sounds great in theory) until I was a solo diner and they still sent out 4 full sized plates of starters? It's honestly quite embarrassing AND a complete waste of food. But the food was tasty and fresh. Room was a good size, even got a whole kitchen set up (hob, toaster, coffee machine, microwave and kettle). My flight arrived late in the evening and a plate of food had been left in my fridge which was nice. Room was clean - had no issues with anything like that at all. And Air-conditioning worked well. My only problem was the bath was tiny/misshaped, not even a foot wide at the base/flat bottom, so made showering very awkward. Felt unsafe like one wrong move and I'd of tripped. Private beach - sunbeds are €5 or free for all inclusive - comfy sun loungers. I avoided the infinity pool, as the all inclusive doesn't apply to that bar - and everytime I walked past it was the busiest out of the 3 pools anyway. The entertainment was disappointing. Can't comment on the kids disco, but after that all the "acts" I saw felt awkward, people left most half way through, the stage set up with the dj in the middle makes it hard to see from the back anyway and half the time people are speaking throughout it. The paper cups are terrible! If you don't drink your drink within 10 minutes it feels like tbe cups going to burst, and the paper straws disintegrate with any touch of liquid. Surely there's a better way - reusable plastic cups to avoid so much waste?? Had a late flight so stored my bags in the luggage storage- which is just an open room in the main building that anyone could walk into at any time and take whatever!! Very strange way of operating.
