Beautiful hotel that is well run with thee most attentive staff. Im a bit late in posting this as intended to but had a flash back on the most warming experience. PROS = Joanna, Bimod, Lilia, Katerina and Veronica are an asset and made my stay absolutely pleasant with just the smallest thing - kindness, which I will never forget. They care, are well trained in customer service and went above and beyond, not only for me but all the hotel guests that I witnessed during the course of my 5 day stay. CONS - Due to inaccurate bookings between the hotel selling their rates to third parties, I was charged an incorrect levy despite me having proof. I was threatened to either pay or be thrown out. No matter the length of explanation/ proof and phonecall, this was dealt with extremely poorly. The customer should never be caught inbetween such issues and could have been dealt with differenly. That aside, I would highly recommend this hotel.

“Our Pleasant Stay at Sunny Days Resort.”

We have just returned from staying at Sunny Days for 12 nights. Our first impressions on arrival from walking from the main road drop off point in the middle of the night, was of mixed feelings. Once entered the main building into reception to check in, the whole area seemed nice, clean and quite modern. We checked in and after requesting a sea view, we soon headed to our apartment in block 5, the furthest building away from the main building, which only took a few minutes. After a long day and night traveling we just wanted to get settled in our room, but our room keys didnt work. We had to return to the reception for the member of staff to exchange for a new one , but this took around 10/15 minutes which was quite frustrating because at 2.30am we just wanted to get to sleep. We eventually settled for the night, and was pleased with the large spacious room, bedroom and toilet. We had a look out on to the balcony and felt disappointed, as we couldnt see anything, was pitch black and it looked like we where looking onto waste land, but after a few hours sleep and day light shining through, our 14 yar old daughter was pleased to see we actually had the sea view as requested so all seemed ok. We went down for breakfast which seemed busy, but the staff worked tirelessly to clear empty tables. The food was lovely, with a few choices but there could have been a little more choices added, especially for children but all in all, very satisfied. We then decided to have a lazy day around the pool and made our way there for around 9am and there was plenty of spare sun beds for us to relax. The pool area, bar and sunbed areas where always clean and tidy, and the staff all very friendly and helpful. We had many pleasant days relaxing around the pool, but just felt later on in the day once all the sun longers where occupied the pool became busy and just seemed a little bit too small to occupy everyone but it was manageable. There was some entertainment throughout the days led by Tereza who was lovely, and encouraged everyone to play darts and participate in aqua aerobics and stretching. The bar area had lots of space to sit and have snacks, lunch and drinks and in the shade. The view from our apartment in room 509 was directly over looking the main road, and the sea and close proximity to bars and restaurants. We explored these in the evening. Once back in the apartment late in the evening, it was nice to sit on the balcony and listen to all the music, but most evenings the music went on until around 1am/2am which was very annoying, but no fault of the hotel. We ate at most of the restaurants close by, and particularly enjoyed Romeo's and Peris, but all where very nice, and different. So overall the hotel was spotlessly clean in around all the areas, but did have some concerns with the overall cleanliness of our room. We tried to keep it as clean as we could, and although the beds where made every day, they weren't swept under for the whole of our stay, and the bin only emptied a few times so we had to use carry bags from the shop to store rubbish under the sink, but they still weren't emptied for at least the last 5 days of our stay. We left used towels that we needed changing on the floor near to the door so we could have fresh clean ones but this didn't always happen. Although there is a kitchen, with fridge, kettle and a stove ( disconnected ) there were no cutlery, plates and glasses, only 2 tea cups. We asked reception why this was, and was told all items where taken from each apartment as the stoves aren't to be used, which again was a little bit disappointing as some nights it would have been nice to sit on the balcony with snacks and drinks. The air-conditioning in the rooms was fantastic, modern and easy to use. Also the gym was very good, and located in our block which I used. The area in the middle of the whole apartment blocks and directly behind the pool bar, appeared to be unused waste land which was annoying because I think this could have been used in favour and beneficial to the hotel, perhaps for a shaded relaxing area, mini golf, children's activities etc. I would be very interested as to why this area hasn't been utilised. The few negative comments I have highlighted didn't affect our holiday at all, we all very much enjoyed our stay at Sunny Days Resort and hopefully will return one day.
