From the moment we arrived, we felt so relaxed. Rooms and bathrooms are modern and immaculate. They are cleaned and refreshed daily if you want this. The only negative was the disposable cups in the room but we take our own travel mugs everywhere. The restaurant really does have something for everyone. Homemade local dishes (Ossobuco was delicious) meats, vegetarian options, salads and dessert were plentiful. We ate swordfish, dogfish and perch. Meats, cheeses and fruits were always available. There were up to 12 meal options - you will not starve. Same for breakfast, with pancakes in fun shapes like palm trees and bears! The restaurant itself offers the most splendid views of the sea and mountains. The staff were consistently outstanding. Shout out to Alexandra, Aris and April for being so helpful, understanding and efficient. The hotel has 3 pools, one is a splash pool and one is used daily for aqua classes (give it a go) You don't need to reserve sun loungers. It is hot all day and you will find people split their time between the hotel and the private beach. If I'm honest I would prefer one of the pools to be child free as I travel with my adult children now and it's nice to occasionally have a calmer poolside. The hotel provides a mini bus regularly to the beach and back. The beach is private and has sun loungers at no extra cost, as well as its own bar and food area. You can get beach towels from reception. Wear pool shoes because the sand is HOT! The sea is so clear you can see fish. We went to the beach in the morning and came back to the hotel pool in the afternoon. My daughters preferred the pool bar and snack area here. It was generally calmer and the staff really stood out here, making our stay extra relaxed. Camelia was just the loveliest human we have ever met and so generous with her time. Dionisis, Maria, Manilos and Panagolis work tirelessly and happily, ensuring your stay is perfect. We felt so happy and content throughout our stay. You get a good selection of snacks all day here. Gyros, Homemade pizza, chips, nuggets, sandwiches and wraps. People have mentioned in previous reviews about gorgeous George on reception. You really feel that he is a safe pair of hands and will help with absolutely anything. The Greek themed restaurant can be booked once during your stay - do it because it was traditional Greek food served in a calm but more formal atmosphere. We celebrated my daughters Uni results and it made the experience one to remember. You pay for alcoholic drinks in this restaurant but it was lovely to have different choices of wines, beer and fizz! Entertainment was varied. The theater outside was more family fun quiz and music nights whereas the poolside bar had a some fabulous singers and a Greek dance evening. The spa ladies are lovely but we found the jacuzzi a little chilly. Maybe because we aren't used to the high temperature that Greece offers in abundance! We took a taxi to Lindos town for 30 euros and the funniest taxi driver in history (Mike Katz!!) gave great advice on getting the best out of your visit to the beautiful old town. Travelling as a mum and 2 daughters, I have never felt so safe and calm as I have here. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Definitely on the return list.
