We’ve just come back from a fabulous week at this wonderful hotel. I can’t rate it highly enough. The location is perfect, right next to the beach. Our room - an executive family room, was spacious and comfortable, perfect for our family of four. It was cleaned daily and we had the minibar restocked every two days. Everywhere was really clean and tidy. The pools were so inviting with crystal clear water and our kids loved the slides. It’s a great atmosphere around the main pool, with the music playing and the animation team keeping you entertained. The food was all delicious, the buffet had different food every night which was perfect. It was very hard to stop eating! We tried the Asian restaurant one evening, the food was very good and the ambience was great. Our absolute favourite lunch spot was the beach bar, the Gyros are so good! All the staff were so friendly and attentive, especially the staff at the beach bar. What made the holiday even better for us, was the entertainment. Our kids absolutely loved the mini disco, we had to plan out dinner times to make sure we didn’t miss it! Lea’s enthusiasm was off the scale and she made very single child feel special. Marco (absolute legend) and his team made us cry with laughter at their hilarious shows. Just brilliant! A special mention for Mike too, with his comedy acting skills. All the animation team were so friendly, making such an effort to say hi to the kids during the day time. We booked a taxi through the hotel to go to Lindos for the morning and also for our return airport transfer. Both drivers were so professional and friendly and reception made it really easy to organise. Overall, an absolute brilliant week. It was very hard to leave. We are already planning our return!

“Disappointing and underwhelming”

Very disappointing stay especially after reading all the glowing reviews. I wouldn’t ever return to the hotel or the island of Rhodes! Very disappointing stay especially after reading all the glowing reviews. I wouldn’t ever return to the hotel or the island of Rhodes! Firstly the drinks are abysmal for a 4* hotel, I’ve never seen such a poor selection in an all inclusive hotel. The wine was on tap, there was no non alcoholic beer, the cocktails were horrific, no alternative milks such as almond or oat and no bottled water available - only 2 bottles provided in the room mini bar every 2 days. The food was average and extremely repetitive in the buffet - the vegetarian selection was also extremely poor with only one or two options per day. The kids corner was appreciated and helpful for our toddler. The restaurants were also underwhelming- we actually walked out of the Venus Greek Restaurant halfway through our meal as the food was so poor. The Asian restaurant was slightly better but fairly tasteless - the noodles tasted like instant packet noodles. The room was spacious we were staying with two adults and one child. The balcony was also lovely and big with a sea view. It was quite noisy, the entertainment was loud at night which kept us awake. The pools were absolutely FREEZING and almost unusable, this is our fault for booking so early in the season but it was disappointing. The beach bar was the highlight - the food was the best here and drinks! The beach itself wasn’t great, quite dirty and pebbly. The entertainment is extremely annoying around the pool. The reps are constantly bothering you to join games and shows when you’re trying to relax. I was horrified at the child’s entertainment- one of the female entertainers mimicked my child during a game in front of 50+ people which really upset her, I then had to complain to reception about. There’s very little to do surrounding the hotel itself, it’s worth having a car and driving to Lindos. I don’t recommend visit Rodos town itself it’s extremely tacky, touristy and trashy. We did take a day trip to Symi which was a highlight of the trip. Overall I’ve visited many islands and hotels in Greece and this is by far the worst. I’m not understanding the glowing reviews. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
