We have had an absolutely amazing stay at Kolymbia Bay Art Hotel and honestly could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, all of the staff were welcoming, friendly and incredibly helpful, but a special thank you has to go to Lisa, who went above and beyond for us during our stay. I had been planning a proposal whilst we were away, and Lisa helped make everything feel effortless and special from start to finish. She was kind, thoughtful, reassuring and genuinely cared about making the evening perfect for us. The room decorations, flowers, balloons, wine, cake and little touches when we returned to the hotel were absolutely beautiful and made such a memorable moment even more special. The hotel itself was lovely clean, relaxing, and in a great location close to the beach and local restaurants. It is also close enough to the main party area of Kolymbia if you want a livelier evening, but far enough away that there is no disturbance from noise, so you really get the best of both worlds. Breakfast was also amazing every morning with plenty of choice and great quality food. There is currently some building work taking place across the road, however honestly it was nowhere near as disruptive as we expected and did not affect our holiday in any major way. It certainly didn’t take away from the experience or the quality of the hotel itself. Thank you again to everyone at the hotel, and especially Lisa, for helping create memories we will never forget. We will always look back on this holiday so fondly.

Its a nice hotel. Its not a four star hotel as advertised. The bar area and restaurant are very nice. The staff are lovely and so helpful such as Michael and the other staff at the bar, the staff at breakfast time always smiling and helpful to the lovely lady who cleaned our rooms every day. They were all brilliant. On the negative side, it's advertised as a spa hotel. It is misleading the spa is in a sister hotel. There is building works for a new hotel directly in front of the hotel which can be noisy. The rooms are outdated and needs modernising. Another issue we had was the toilet seat was brown and worn looking. We mentioned this but it was not replaced. Overall nice hotel but not worth the money. We were there for our 30th Wedding anniversary but we ended up booking a better hotel for the night of our anniversary and it was actually cheaper but so much nicer. Overall average.

We stayed at the kolymbia bay hotel for 4 nights in May. Overall we really did enjoy our holiday, but felt the hotel itself had both good and not so good points. Firstly the hotel is currently directly across from a building site. We knew this before we arrived (although not when we booked). The building work was not noisy, but is insightly and caused a lot of construction vehicles to be driving past etc. This is not the fault of the hotel, but I can only imagine what a wonderful view the rooms and breakfast area would have had before. When we arrived we were shown to a room on the back of the hotel. This room was very dated. It had a large window with no curtains and a fusty smell that they had clearly tried to hide with air freshener. After complaining we were shown to a room on the front of the hotel, which looked a lot more like the pictures we had seen. Breakfast was great. Lots of variety and the staff were all so helpful. The pool bar was also good serving great food and cocktails. The pool area itself could do with some maintenance, as areas looked tired. Also limited sunbeds around the pool in the sunshine and it was a lot smaller than expected. The walk to the beach is about 15mins. There is a closer beach but due to the building works you would not want to sit there. Also about 20mins walking to eucalyptus street. This was a nice area but had fewer restaurants and bars than expected. Overall we had a good holiday and enjoyed our stay at kolymbia bay.
