Ok. This is a 9/10 review so any criticisms are very minor indeed. Came here on a family holiday: girlfriend and 2 daughters aged 17 and 18. The rooms are very recently refurbed and are very nicely done. One of the rooms (1313) was especially spacious. The other room was lovely too and I’m let you know believe is more in keeping with the rest of the ‘standard with sea view’ rooms. Minor gripe was the lack of drying rail in our room (1323) when every other balcony appears to have one. Hotel pool is excellent, very clean and spacious - even when the activities are on. The private beach is course sand and pebbles and whilst the water was clear there was oddly very few fish. FOOD AND DRINK The food and drink never stops and you can eat and drink all day from 7am if you want! My daughters can be a bit fussy but there was always something that they could eat. Every night was differently themed from Greek to Mexican and the array of food was vast and really tasty. No complaints at all. The all inclusive drinks were also varied and all served from recyclable cups by the pool bar. My biggest gripe of the holiday is centred here: the rooms had a fridge and one bottle of water in it on arrival….this should be constantly refreshed and a selection of other drinks too. It’s all inclusive after all! Water is very cheap here but I shouldn’t have to buy any for an all inclusive holiday. Entertainment was really good, the animation team worked tirelessly to ensure there was always something to do (we’re not ‘mixers’ but my kids do enjoy the odd Zumba session). Evening entertainment was generally performed in a lovely little amphitheatre and seemed to go down well. Some of the shows felt a bit long but that’s just my opinion. A word about the lifeguard: the man is pure entertainment and should have his own social media. I’d watch it daily. From his dance warm ups to his playing games with kids, what a man!! No one is a fan of ‘reserving’ sunbeds and the hotel staff does a patrol every morning and leaves passive aggressive notes on people’s sunbeds. We’re early risers and often come down early for a coffee whilst it’s quiet before we go in to breakfast. We’ve been a victim of these notes - they don’t do anything to actually enforce it though. On a side note, my partner was absolutely bitten to shreds one evening whilst sitting on the balcony. No one else in our party has had a problem but probably best to pack the insect repellent and germolene!
