“Lovely hotel”

Difficult to find any faults with this hotel. The staff were the best part of the stay. Every member of staff was attentive polite and helpful in every way possible to enjoy the stay & relax. Food excellent, the breakfast quality is among the best I have ever had in a hotel.

Home away from home Once an hour during daytime The Kiotari Little Train passes by the hotel on its one hour long journey around Kiotari. After five days at the Boutique 5 hotel we felt like we hade to take the train to explore what else this small town on the east coast of Rhodes had to offer. Up until then, we had spent most of our time at or around the hotel — because why not? It had all we wanted from our long awaited holiday. Upon arrival, we were greeted by concierge Apostolis who made us leave our every day life by the front door and welcoming us with drinks of our choices and a relaxing start to our vacation. The warmness and hospitality gave us just a taste of what was to come. Even though we had a mishap with our travel agency Apostolis and his team went above and beyond to try to solve the issue, never complaining and always with kindness and sincereness. Our room, a superior junior suite with a private pool, had all we needed with it’s king size bed, large bathroom with a rain shower and a sun deck with a pool that was well needed in the heat of the early May sun warming our ever so cold northern souls. Is this what heaven feels like — having Aperol spritz by your own private pool? The beach became our second home with its clear blue water, pebble stone beach and Mr Diagoras offering hospitality and service always with a smile and a great story. Our last day was his day off, but he made sure to say good bye and have a chat before his shift was over that day. It felt like saying goodbye to a friend. The breakfast experience was, of course, nice! With both hot and cold dishes and coffee of your choice, and a fantastic team working early mornings with smiles on their faces and always trying to accommodate our preferences and requests. Our evenings were spent dining at restaurants in Kiotari, but never without having a drink by the pool first. This became almost a ritual and a high light because of bartender Stergos. Not only did he offer mean drinks with a smile, he went off menu to make sure I got my favorite drink (needless to say that man can make a damn good French 75). Then came the worst day of our stay — when it was time to leave. We hade a late check out, due to a late flight, which was made possible by Apostolis and the ever so wonderful Hannah. Thanks to them we hade the possibility to fully enjoy our last day at Boutique 5 Hotel and Spa. And the hospitality and kindness from Hannah those last days made me almost feel like I was leaving a potential future friend — that’s the level of familiarity and hospitality this place has to offer. When our transfer arrived, porter Miran went for our bags and looked at us waiting in the lobby, telling us with a small nod. It was time. He helped us out and it felt symbolic that this gentle man with kindness in his eyes was the last person waving us off from a distance. So about that train ride. Kiotari is small, and the routs take you passing by big hotel complexes and small taverns. Passing all those other hotels made me realize how lucky we were, and when the train finally made its stop outside our hotel again I felt a relief. We were finally home.

We wanted a small, intimate hotel for our first trip to Rhodes and our choice could not have been more perfect. The hotel is in a quiet town with several great restaurants nearby. We chose the B&B option and breakfast was a daily delight of fresh fruit, hot and cold options. The staff at are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble...Natalia is simply superb, she remembered our breakfast drinks choices after the second day. In fact everyone working at the hotel were so friendly, there's so many to mention but Stergos on the bar makes the best cocktails, and spent most evenings being asked about how to say various (often random) phrases in Greek. Marcel and Mourat in the restaurant always smiling and Vaggellis on reception at night is a legend. The rooms are beautiful decorated and definitely boutique, the shower was sooo good the rooms are well looked after by the great team of domestic staff who even do a turndown service in the evening. They also keep the rest of the hotel and grounds spotless. The beds are huge and a good night's sleep is guaranteed. The pool area is so relaxing we spent most days enjoying the sunshine on the very comfortable sun loungers, we enjoyed the greek night with a range of traditional food and music , there were several other live musicians performing. The atmosphere in and around the hotel is definitely geared up for those wishing to relax and refresh, there's even a spa with a pool, sauna and steam room and they offer several treatments designed to pamper. There's a private beach with sun loungers and a member of staff is on hand to take food and drinks orders and deliver them to you whilst you enjoy the sound of the sea lapping at the shore. So many places are advertised as 5 star but this hotel was definitely that and truly a magical place to and somewhere we will be returning to. As with any adults only 5 star hotel you are paying for knowing that it will be relaxing and peaceful and it turns out that the experience made Boutique 5 worth every penny.
