This was our second visit to Celestial Lindos Suites and it did not disappoint. Eleni and her staff are lovely, so friendly and helpful. It's in a great spot, just a 10 minute walk from the main square in Lindos. I really like the fact that it is a small block of, I believe, 8 rooms, unlike so many big, rather impersonal hotels. The room was lovely. Really tastefully decorated and a very good size, offering a lovely view towards the Acropolis. It was also spotlessly clean. The pool is a good size and there is never a problem getting a sunbed, whatever time you arrive. Plenty of sunbeds. Breakfast was great. I would not hesitate in recommending Celestial and will definitely be back.

We had an amazing experience at the hotel. A 15 min walk into Lindos which meant the area around the hotel was very peaceful. The owners are very friendly, will chat to you and make conversation and help if needed, they made us feel very comfortable. The room was very clean and looked amazing, very comfy bed and 2 pillow options (one very soft and one bigger and more firm) which was great! We had the balcony facing the town and even though there were balcony’s next to us, it still felt very private. The pool area was lovely, very quiet and everyone kept to themselves, it was perfect for relaxing. We really enjoyed the breakfast which was eggs, bread, some pastries, fresh fruit and yoghurt, coffee/tea and juice. Some days they would switch up the eggs and fruit and even add some cake which was really lovely! Everything was freshly made and brought to you as soon as you sat down in the morning. If you needed to make any changes to the breakfast they would do this for you. Absolutely no complaints about this hotel, we have recommended it to everyone we know. Just one thing to watch out for is that there is a steep hill to get in and out of Lindos town which I wasn’t aware of, but this wasn’t a problem for me but might be an issue for others, but there is transport to get up and down if needed. If you want to stay in Lindos I don’t think this hill can be avoided! It was totally worth it for how peaceful the area around the hotel was. I highly recommend getting a hire car, there is parking next to the hotel and Lindos is such a great location to visit different places on the island. A hidden gem is Grande Blue Beach, if you can handle the steep steps up and down it is a must visit!

Staff & Service The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It’s clearly a family-run hotel, which adds a warm and personal touch to the experience. Room We were likely given a budget room, as it didn’t resemble the photos online. The room was functional, with a full-size fridge and freezer compartment. Sheets and towels weren’t perfectly clean, but laundry appears to be done on-site, which may be more sustainable. Air conditioning was weak and only worked when the room key was inserted—no workaround with a plastic card. The safe cost €2 per night and was operated by a key rather than a code. It was quite small—just enough to fit an iPad. Ironing facilities were available for €5, but the board was tiny and there was no suitable space to use it properly. This felt like poor value. Food & Drink Breakfast was disappointing. No menu or choice—items were simply brought to the table. Bread and pastries were stale and very small. Jam had no variety. The yogurt with fruit was nice, and a hot plate of scrambled eggs, spam, and cheese was included. Coffee and tea were self-service, and the espresso machine came at an extra charge. A fresh pastry and a proper coffee would have been preferable. Lunch by the pool was fine but overpriced. The Monday BBQ was advertised but didn’t happen, which was disappointing. The bar closes at 7:30 PM, so most guests don’t use it—this feels like a missed opportunity for guests to mingle Facilities The pool area was lovely and quiet, with no stress over sunbeds—very relaxing. Wi-Fi was free and worked well. Late checkout and shower room incur significant fees, which we didn’t use but noted. Cleanliness & Maintenance Sheets and towels weren’t spotless, but we didn’t raise any complaints due to the short stay. We lost a piece of inexpensive jewellery down the sink. Staff weren’t very helpful, so we let it go. Location About a 15-minute walk downhill into town. Taxi back cost €6. There’s a supermarket across the road, which was convenient, though the staff there were quite rude. While the staff were lovely and the pool area was peaceful, the overall experience didn’t quite match the price point. Improvements in breakfast quality, room amenities, and customer service would make a big difference. At this time, we’re unsure if we would choose to return.
