A really strong and positive experience staying at Lindos Sun Hotel. It was the highlight of our four day holiday to Greece. Service was attentive and all the attendees we encountered were welcoming and generous with their time. Upon arrival, we were fortunate to be given a room upgrade by the female hotel receptionist who was super throughout our stay. Good communication between the staff at all levels. The all-inclusive breakfast will not be a wasted expense if you decide to include that in your holiday package. The range and variety of foods there are nicely presented and taste delicious, especially as the town centre is quite a walking distance away. Sun Hotel is conveniently positioned two beautiful beach areas, St Pauls Bay and Aquagrand beach. Plenty to see, feel and experience. We will be returning, thank you Sun Hotel.

This was our first ever couples holiday and we couldn't have made a better choice than to stay here. Staff were so welcoming, friendly and accommodating to us and even delivered cookies to our door every day at 4pm if we were in. 10 minute walk from two beaches, one is a very popular tourist destination and the other is a bit more a secluded and relaxing beach. Lindos village is only a 15 minute walk from the hotel so that was a plus. Breakfast service was lovely with staff asking if we needed coffee/ water. Hotel looks even better than it does in the pictures and the hotel is beautifully decorated with lots of beautiful plants and harbours alot of wildlife. Pool was very clean. It was such a quiet and peaceful stay with no loud noises. My room was very clean when a arrived with my bedsheets and towels being changed everyday. Every penny was worth it even though it was a budget holiday and I felt as if I got real value for my money.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful week at Lindos Sun Hotel and it really is a little gem. If you’re looking for authentic Greek traditional-style buildings and a basic, no-frills boutique hotel that’s quiet and chic, this place delivers. The rooms are small and storage is limited, so you won’t be doing any grand unpacking, but they’re immaculately clean and well stocked with toiletries plus tea and coffee making facilities. There’s also a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks you can buy, though it does leave very little room for anything you bring yourself. The bathrooms have a quirky, almost Flintstones-style stone shower area – different, but it works! One tip: definitely bring mosquito repellent, especially if you like to sit outside in the evenings. Breakfast was outstanding with plenty of variety. There’s a live cooking station for omelettes, eggs benedict and pancakes, and on Sundays they do a special smoked salmon and champagne breakfast – a lovely touch. The food across all the restaurants was consistently excellent and of a very high standard. The staff are genuinely lovely and go out of their way to make sure everything runs smoothly. Special mention to Paul and Neil on breakfast – both were so welcoming and enthusiastic every morning. Mark at the poolside bar was also brilliant – always smiling and ready to take your order. The pool area is excellent. There are plenty of sunbeds and we never struggled to find one, even when the early birds were out at the crack of dawn claiming spots! The pool itself is a generous 33 metres long – perfect for proper lengths or just cooling off. Do note though that it’s a constant 5ft deep throughout, so it’s not suitable for non-swimmers or children, and there’s no lifeguard on duty. One special touch that even many 5-star hotels don’t offer: every midday the pool attendant comes around handing out ice-cold, lemon-scented wet towels. Such a refreshing and thoughtful gesture! This is very much an adults-only boutique hotel. There’s no children’s facilities or entertainment, which suited us perfectly as we wanted peace and quiet. The vibe is relaxed and chic rather than lively. Lindos village is about a 25-minute walk away, but it’s a long uphill slog in the heat, so we mostly used the bus that stops right outside the hotel (just €2 return) or grabbed a taxi for €10 each way. Overall, we had a really lovely, relaxing week with excellent food and service. Lindos Sun Hotel is ideal for couples or adults who want a peaceful, traditional Greek stay without the big-resort feel. We’d happily return.
