Villa Parianon Terra Pietra is a small complex of various size “villas” each with private pool. The Suites are two persons, eight in the block, over two levels, sharing one larger pool. Villa Parianon is a two double bedroom, two bathrooms (showers) modern and well-equipped apartment style accommodation. We booked via Booking.com and when our arrival details came from Terra Pietra, it stated that our Villa was a double bedroom, twin bedroom and one bathroom. We checked with Terra Pietra directly and established that their own website is incorrect (for Villa Parianon); don’t be confused by this. The lounge area and both bedrooms have direct access to the private pool. Pool furniture included four sunbeds and a dining table and chairs. There is a fixed sun parasol, providing essential shade from the summer sun. Pool towels are provided. We were surprised to find that there were no plastic glasses for use around the pool. It was OK for use as we were four adults, but something to consider if you have children. The kitchen area is well configured with everything you will need for a self-catering holiday. Full size dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Coffee machine, kettle; there were even a small number of coffee pods and tea bags available upon arrival. Small laundry corner included washing machine, iron, ironing board and washing pods. Overall, we found the villa very clean and well maintained. There was one very minor observation, that being a rusty table leg, that was shorter than the others; nothing a beer can didn’t sort. Hot water in the shower took a little while to come, but once it did, it remained hot and we never experienced any loss of utilities. We had an Ant invasion the first night, that once reported to the complex management on the WhatsApp contact was sorted immediately the next morning. The villa has insect screens on all the poolside doors and air-conditioning throughout, which is free to use. We didn’t expect to have as much housekeeping as we did for our six-night stay. Towels were changed twice and we had a bedding change on day four. Housekeeping also attended briefly most days to wipe floors and empty bins. The private pool looks out across a small garden strip with olive tree landscape immediately beyond. There are no sea views from here, but that shouldn’t put you off. You will be visited by local goats and a few cats. Adequate and free parking is available on site. Didn’t see an EV charge point, but we weren’t looking for one. The complex is approximately 50 minutes from Rhodes Airport. You can walk to Lardos beach (20 mins), but this is not the best beach. Walking 20 minutes in-land and you reach the village of Lardos. It’s basic; with a few bars/cocktail bars and a handful of restaurants and traditional Taverna. You MUST eat at Savvas. The best value for money you will find for traditional Greek food. Ran by three generations of the family. Terra Pietra complex is not manned by a reception or the usual on site attendance. However, they provide a WhatsApp contact and (Christina) responded promptly when we had any questions/queries. Overall, we found the villa to be great value for money, having a quiet and relaxed feel. You wouldn’t need a car if you were happy to walk to Lardos beach and Lardos Village. There is a bakery at the end of the drive (90 seconds walk). Having a car would allow you to reach supermarket for food shopping and exploring Rhodes further. If you just want a pool to relax in and good Greek food (Savvas) each evening 20 minutes’ walk away, then Terra Pietra Luxury Villas are for you. We will go back.
