“Amazing stay 11nts 16th September”

Second visit, just as good as last time, all staff members outstanding but a special thank you to Owen, Nemo and tennis superstar Yannik Just a thought, it seemed to me that almost everyone wanted to dance, occasionally music choices could have been better.

We stayed in suite 7707 which seemed the furthest away from anything, we had a swim up pool and the room was lovely, having access to the pool from your room was great, but the water was always very cold. They don't use any chemicals in the pools which is why they are always cold. Our only negative was lack of shade by our swim up pool, until the afternoon there was no shade (hubby is a shade dweller) Most evenings we went into the buffet, and there was huge selection of foods, every night was different. As you walked into the buffet, turn right and there was an adults dining room, I'm glad we found this as the main area for eating was very busy with parents and children, it just seemed quieter to enjoy eating. I celebrated my birthday whilst there and the hotel arranged for a cake and a bottle of bubbles delivered to our room, which was a nice touch. We booked to eat in the Taverna, this wasn't so great and the food was luke warm, the chef did offer to recook my meal, but my husband had already eaten his, so i would be eating on my own. We didn't bother with any other speciality restaurants after that, the buffet meals were much better. All drinks during the day are served in paper or plastic cups, we took some thermos type mugs and the staff were happy to fill those for us, drinks lasts longer and keeps drinks colder for longer. There were never any sunbed wars, in fact we commented how many spare beds there were around all pools. Don't be scared to either flag the buggies down or call them from your room via reception, these guys were the best. We had a private transfer to and from the airport so i cant comment about the time it takes to transfer in a coach, but our journey was about 1hr 15mins by taxi All the staff were great and worked really hard to make sure everything was good specially Ronaldo at the beach bar. The beach is shingle and stones, beach shoes are recommended if you have sensitive feet. We took a speed boat ride from the water sports guys, which took us around the bays and gave us a chance to jump off the boat and swim a couple of times, this is worth doing although was bumpy and windy, but being the end of the season it was expected. The temperature was about 27-28 degrees with a nice cooling breeze (more windy some days than others). I am told it does cool down at the end of the season All in all a great resort with tons to do, or just flop and drop, we will be back.

Returned from a weeks holiday with 9 year old twins. Resort is 2hrs by coach from airport, isolated as 2.5kms from the main road, 20 mins (€75 by taxi) from Lindos. Couple of clothing shops within complex and a small gift / corner shop - which is expensive. Spa is ok but basic no nails, eyebrow treatments etc just massage type treatment - I booked masssge for me and strawberry massage for girls but did us all in same room and one child had to wait 25 mins whilst other had theirs also meant I was aware of them and difficult to relax. No hair salon - kids wanted hair braid. Food is ok - got boring by end of the week - kids choice same everyday. During day - yoga, aqua aerobics, aqua cycle but pools were cold. By end of week baby heated pool water had changed colour - could no longer see bottom looked awful and families avoided. Sharp edges along tiles in second pool and light had came off wall trialing - despite being reported not fixed when we left. Kids had small cuts to finger tips, big toes and pinkie toes from sharp tiles. No inflatables allowed in pools. There are 4 types of slides in the attached water park but again water was cold but fun. Beach was small, stoney with no bar or food provided - had to walk back to complex at meal times (5 mins) and had to cover up swim wear. Room was good size but as on ground floor had problem with ants both front & back - again reported but nothing done. Rooms cleaned 4 out of the 7 days (alternate days) and when unable to flush toilet paper is not good enough - woke on 5th morning to 15 ants in toilet room ! Reported but nothing done. Finishing to rooms was poor - glass shower door had a crack, screw half out holding shower door in place. Can hear families upstairs walking around, showering, talking, babies crying and people having sex. Tea, Coffee or milk not replaced at all during stay but a bottle of water left so I could boil the water - bought milk and took tea & coffee from restaurant. Entertainment at 2100hrs ok if you enjoy watching 3/4 scantily clad women dancing on 4 of the nights for 30 - 60 mins - Greek dancing & silent disco nights were good though. Ents team supporting each other whooping and whistling detracted and very obvious. Maybe take the hint and need to do better, at other resorts I’ve been to there were fire shows, exotic animals, acrobatic nights, bingo, Karaoke for kids etc. Gina the rep was very good and found us a great boat ride and we went to Lindos to visit the Acropolis and wished we had stayed in a resort in town. We wouldn’t return or recommend the resort and definitely not 5 star
