We stayed at the Plimmiri in October last year and we honestly had the most wonderful time. My little girl loved going into the children's club, there was so much entertainment for the teens and the food was varied and expansive. I am vegan and I never once struggled to find a food... The only thing there wasn't a lot of was pudding options- but I read after that you can request these. The night time entertainment was great and all of the team worked so hard. It was well maintained, the pools were spread out and the beach was nice. The coffee house was a great addition and the fact that the rooms weren't in a hotel formation and were in blocks made it feel really spacious and spread out. As we were there at the end of the season the splash park needed a little tlc, but it most certainly didn't ruin out experience. So much to do for families, could and anyone else who would want to visit. If you are travelling as a family, particularly with young children I would recommend booking a private transfer as the transfer time added a lot of time to an assist long day of travelling, but it was so worth it once we were there.

Really good overall. The positives : Resort beautiful, clean nicely laid out We stayed in a family suite it was huge clean and beautiful. Food was varied - I’m a vegan and there was plenty of food options for vegans and veggies all food well labelled. Pools nicely kept and every evening completely cleaned and set up for next day. Plenty of sun loungers. Good size bar and restaurants. The adult only section of the magic bar at the top gorgeous views. Bar staff at magic bar all fantastic customer service, friendly and efficient. The dj on in magic bar was great. Overall great holiday The negatives : Biggest negative was the kids clubs- very German centric my little boy wanted to join in and was told by the staff that he could but it was mostly German kids so then he didn’t want to. Same reason daughter wouldn’t go teen club. The entertainment was poor and we didn’t like the amphitheater were the shows were mainly on - hot, uncomfortable. The transfer time tui airport to resort is 2 hours 30 mins if I was going back here I would have to factor in private transport costs as 7 drops on route was tough with kids.

Our holiday at TUI Magic Life Plimmiri was, fortunately, not a disaster—but that's largely thanks to Greece itself: the beautiful sea, the sunshine, and the warm weather. The resort certainly wasn't the highlight of the trip. Let's start with what deserves praise. The food was consistently good, with a wide selection and decent quality. The archery activity was one of the highlights of our stay, and special thanks go to **Joshua**, who ran it professionally and made it genuinely enjoyable. At the bars, **Sam** deserves recognition as well—his cocktails were consistently excellent. Sadly, that's where consistency ends. Cocktail quality depends entirely on who's behind the bar. One bartender can make a fantastic cocktail, while another (the guy with the goatee) serves something that barely resembles the same drink. Unfortunately, the negatives significantly outweigh the positives. The resort promotes itself as family-friendly, yet it feels much more smoker-friendly. Smoking is allowed virtually everywhere outdoors: around restaurants, bars, pools, and entertainment areas. As a non-smoker, it's surprisingly difficult to find a place where you can simply enjoy a drink or a meal without breathing cigarette smoke. Even worse, the few outdoor seating areas away from smokers don't have a view of the evening entertainment. So your choice is simple: inhale cigarette smoke or miss the shows. The restaurant management also needs serious attention. At dinner time, finding a table often means standing in a queue and waiting for other guests to leave. This isn't the fault of the restaurant staff—they worked hard—but rather a management failure. If you invite thousands of guests, you should also provide enough seating for them. The beverage selection is far below what I'd expect from a resort claiming to be five stars. The wine was poor and honestly tasted as though it had been diluted with water. There is only a single beer available, with no alternatives. And the "juice" is an insult to the word. It's just a sugary fruit drink with a small amount of actual juice, artificial flavours, and acidity. Serving this in a supposed five-star all-inclusive resort is simply disappointing. Then there's the bizarre water policy. Guests receive one 1.5-liter bottle every two days. In the Greek summer, restricting drinking water like this feels cheap and completely unnecessary. Booking activities was frustrating. Despite trying repeatedly, I only managed to reserve archery. Popular activities appear to fill up almost instantly, making it difficult to enjoy everything the resort advertises. The departure experience perfectly summed up the hotel's attitude toward its guests. After checking out, we asked if we could get some water bottle before leaving for the airport. We were told to **buy it**. Seriously? After paying for an all-inclusive holiday, the hotel couldn't offer departing guests a bottle of water. It didn't end there. Need to store your hand luggage (or smth valuable) after checkout in a locker? Extra charge. Want to weigh your suitcase before heading to the airport? Extra charge. These are tiny services that many hotels provide free of charge as a courtesy, especially at the end of a guest's stay. Charging extra for every little thing leaves a very poor final impression and feels unnecessarily penny-pinching considering the price of the holiday. Overall, this resort has potential. There are dedicated staff members, good food, and a beautiful location. But the smoking policy, lack of seating at dinner, poor beverage quality, inconsistent bar service, restrictive water policy, frustrating activity booking system, and embarrassing cost-cutting at checkout make it impossible, in my opinion, to justify its five-star rating. Ironically, we've stayed in several four-star resorts that delivered a noticeably better overall experience than this so-called five-star property. Before we would consider returning—or recommending TUI Magic Life Plimmiri to friends and family—a lot needs to change. At the moment, I would honestly describe it as **a four-star resort at best—and perhaps the most tobacco-friendly family resort I've ever visited.** The holiday was enjoyable because Greece is beautiful. The resort simply came along for the ride.
