Lovely location and the atmosphere was incredible thanks to the animation team. Lovely location and the atmosphere was incredible thanks to the animation team. The weather isn’t good enough to be outside for evening entertainment this early in the season, the team really improvised and made the evenings full of laughter. They work so well as a team, it made everybody join in. Thank you to Jose who always went above and beyond. The room was nice, always clean and the sea view was stunning. Plenty of food to choose from. We loved the Greek restaurant. Hotel and pools are immaculate and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Would recommend and would return.

On paper a fantastic hotel but for me too big. The thematic restaurants are great idea but difficult to get booked into as system says full. Great bar/lounge area but difficult to get a table as full (may be different when weather is nice and can sit outside) and long queues at the bar. There is table service but had to wait 20 minutes for drinks to arrive. Lovely pool areas including adult only section but again people reserve loungers so later in the day hard to get one. Buffet restaurant has great selection but queues to get in approx 10-15 mins. Good little shop in hotel where you can buy bus tickets for Rhodes bus 2 euros each way. Lovely staff who work very hard. Would I return? No, having to queue for everything is frustrating.

I wanted to share feedback regarding our recent stay at the Akti Imperial in Rhodes. While the hotel itself appeared a nice standard and we appreciated the cleanliness throughout all communal areas, the bedrooms/lifts and stairwells  were less than spotless. Unfortunately we also encountered a distressing situation on our last night. My 14-year-old daughter became seriously ill with either severe food poisoning or a gastro bug, which made our departure incredibly difficult.   When we sought assistance from hotel staff, we were disappointed by their response. Instead of providing support, they were unhelpful, rude, and even argumentative. Despite explaining that my daughter was too unwell to leave the room, the staff insisted on us checking out exactly at 11, and showed no empathy for her condition. It was unreasonable to expect her to lie and be sick in the main reception area. Ultimately, we were charged an additional 100 euros simply because we couldn't vacate the room immediately due to her illness, which she had caught at the hotel either due to food poisoning or a gastro bug as allegedly a number of staff were out sick that day with a sickness bug (as advised by their PR manager and other staff).   This experience left us feeling upset and unsupported at a time when a little understanding could have made a significant difference. We hope you will take this feedback into consideration and address the staff's attitude and support for guests facing emergencies during their stay.   We have stayed previously at another hotel in Ixia and will not be returning the the Akti Imperial going forward due to the lack of empathy and understanding for their staff and any form of customer service by the hotel staff.
