We had a really good stay here. On arrival, we were welcomed with a glass of fizz, which was a nice touch, and throughout our stay, the staff were consistently friendly and greeted us whenever they walked past. A big positive for me was how well they handled my food allergy (nuts). The maître d’ introduced me to the chef, who personally walked me through the buffet to point out safe options. On one evening when cross-contamination was a concern, the chef brought me an à la carte dish instead, which I really appreciated. The food overall was really great. There are eight à la carte restaurants on-site; we managed to book three during our stay, and the Peruvian restaurant was fabulous in terms of food, atmosphere, and service- well worth booking into if tou are able to! The cocktails were also well-made from scratch rather than premixed. Other notes on the resort: - Pool areas are well-maintained, with the newly renovated pool looking fab. - Beach access is very convenient, though you will definitely need beach shoes as it is quite pebbly/rocky. - We (adults and our kids) were given a small gift on departure, which was a lovely gesture. - The pools are saltwater, so goggles for the kids are a must.

We have just come back from a week stay at the hotel with our 2 year old and found it to be overall a lovely holiday, but definitely wouldn’t say this hotel is 5 star. Upon check in we were greeted with a glass of bubbly and with it only being us, were checked in very quickly. Before we arrived, I had seen it was difficult to book into the restaurants. We went straight to guest relations who managed to get us into 5 of our 7 nights which was fine by us. However, general talk in the hotel showed this wasn’t the case for some families/couples who were very frustrated. Overall, the hotel is lovely however our room was extremely basic. We booked a double room and we had two single beds pushed together with two separate duvets. 5 stars I would expect a double or king bed. There was not enough sun loungers for the amount of people. They say you can’t reserve before 9am but everyone did - you just had to stay with the bed until 9am and then you could leave and go for breakfast. We would get up and go round the pool at about 8:30 and sometimes we would only just manage to get 3 beds together. This needs looking at really as it doesn’t make your holiday very relaxing. There were however plenty of beds on the beach. Lifts were a nightmare! Extremely small (could just about get our pram in) and definitely not enough for again the amount of people. We were waiting ages for lifts to turn up and then couldn’t fit in. At times families were carrying prams down the spiral staircase because they were waiting ages! Not ideal. At one point, they weren’t working. One day, they closed the ramp to the main pool for painting in the day so we had to carry our pram down the steps - again not great! I wouldn’t say the hotel has great disability access. Food overall is brilliant. They also cater for children and the menu for them in the restaurants has a great variety. Drinks were also excellent - especially the champagne and wine bar! Love that you can get branded spirits. Overall, it really is a nice hotel and nice staff with good food and drink. You can see they are trying to improve amenities however it’s just not there yet for me with the 5 star rating.

“Wonderful stay with exceptional staff and great facilities”

Room Room wasn’t quite as we expected, but it was fine. Beds were comfortable, however some of the bedding and towels were torn in places. Room Room wasn’t quite as we expected, but it was fine. Beds were comfortable, however some of the bedding and towels were torn in places. We also had an issue with a broken shower, however this was fixed the following day. Facilities Good variety of pools, plenty of sun loungers and easy access to beach. Felt that the Gym was lacking. Some of the equipment was not in great condition. This included the broken backrest on the Hack Squat which consequently made the machine quite dangerous to use. Also the workout mat had clearly seen better days and could do with being replaced. Aside from that there were plenty of clean towels, tissues and water. Even though our little one really enjoyed Kid’s Club, it is on the small side when compared to other hotels that we’ve visited. Food Wide selection of well seasoned dishes. Nice to also have a la carte options. We managed to have a delicious meal at Arun Asia. They also have late night meals available, which was ideal for us upon our midnight arrival. Staff Upon first arrival at the Hotel the staff were absolutely amazing. They were welcoming, down to earth and attentive. This includes the staff on the front desk, restaurants, bars, housekeeping and the shop. We were absolutely blown away by the Animation Team with their positive energy, kindness and attitude. They regularly went above and beyond to engage with guests and ensure that they have the best experience. They’re truly a great bunch of individuals who are able to connect with guests and inject good vibes during activities or events. Special mention to Saida and Emily for ensuring that our little one had a great time at Kid’s Club and at the evening events. The whole team including Barbara, Francesca, Alex, Lukas and Giulia were absolutely fantastic and are a real asset to the resort. We had a wonderful time at Eden Roc and would definitely recommend it.
