I will be extremely honest in my review and detail as much as possible. Having read a lot of reviews prior to going to the hotel, myself and my wife were a little apprehensive as to what to expect. However we clearly must have stayed at a different hotel as we had a wonderful experience. Check in was extremely straightforward. We took private transfer to hotel and arrived to no guests at reception, but 3 staff who could assist. Check in was literally 5 mins, paying the tourist tax like you would have to in any hotel, and the deposit which is held during the stay. We were given an information sheet regarding the facilities which was also explained to us, and then a member of staff drove us to our garden room. I did notice on one afternoon that a coach full of German tourists arrived, approx 60 people, so anyone with any common sense would realise checking in would take a little time with such a high volume of people descending at the same time. Our Garden room was very spacious with separate bedroom, kitchen/dining and living space, bathroom and balcony with sea view. Rooms are a little dated, but are very comfy and very clean, with our room being cleaned every day. We ate in the main restaurant and never had to queue to get a table. Always plenty of space and staff on hand. The waiters were excellent and soon got to know our drinks orders without having to ask. They would chat about our day and family and really made the effort. Leonadhra really looked after us well. Breakfast options were the usual cooked items, cereals, fruits, yoghurt, bread etc. With fruit juice, tea and coffee as options. Lunch and dinner always had at least 6 different meat options, vegetables, rice, chips, salads, etc. We could easily have 3 courses each night and always found the food warm, tasty and lots of it. We did receive 2 a la carte nights and enjoyed both the Greek Meze and Italian options. Others have said the starters and desserts were the same as main restaurant but this was not the case, especially the italian option with 4 taster starters being brought to me and my wife. We found both our nights in there to be extremely appetising with attentive staff. The snack area in the dome offered gyros, pizza, chips and ice cream throughout the day if feeling hungry. There were 4 pool options during our stay. 2 outdoor pools, 1 outdoor child's pool and the indoor pool. The pools were cold but this is normally the case in hotels with the sunshine being the heat source. Plenty of sun loungers also avaliable with us having no issues securing them. Also plenty of seating with tables around the 2 main pool areas and in shaded spaces. Bars were well staffed and well stocked with plenty to offer in the all inclusive package. The main bar off reception was a paid bar and we only went once for a cocktail and used the other options instead. There was the terrace bar, pool bar, dome bar and play bar, all staffed well with virtually no queuing time (the most I ever had in front of me was 2 people). Options to drink at these were; tea, coffee, pepsi, fanta orange, fanta lemon, sprite, white wine, red wine, rose wine, vodka, whisky, brandy, rum, ouzo. I perhaps have forgotten a few but plenty to choose from. There was also 2 cocktail options which changed every 3 days. I know others said very few options but I felt there was a good choice, and quality was also good. I took notice that the whisky, vodka and rum were all produced by Glen's from Glasgow, and being scottish knew that this wasn't bad at all. The staff on the bars were also very good, always smiling and chatting and making the guests feel good. The Entertainment team ran activities around the pool daily and encouraged participation by all. The only thing I would change is that each day the options were the same and after doing them once or twice it became a bit of the same. At night, entertainment took place in the dome and I would highly recommend the Greek night, with the traditional plate smashing, dancing and singing. Staff were excellent at these nights and encouraged guests to be involved and feel included. The grounds were well maintained with staff always cleaning and making the place look good. I believe some guests who visited before Easter may have had a different experience to us due to it being out of season and the hotel and surrounding areas not being fully open. I cannot fault out stay at all and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Rhodes. I know my wife and I will definitely return in the near future. I cannot thank everyone enough for making out stay so excellent and left feeling totally refreshed.

My partner and I have just come back from an amazing stay in Rodos Palace hotel, the location of the hotel is great with just a few steps away from the beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, and about a 5 minute taxi away from Rhodes town. We was all inclusive, the food was very nice and drinks too, only thing I would change is being able to get something to eat at any point during the day (outside of the meal times) there is a small snack bar at the indoor pool but this only has chips, pizza, hotdogs and ice cream. I would especially like to praise Giorgos who works in the playland bar downstairs and lifeguards round the pool during the day, he was a great laugh and always went above and beyond for you, he was always chatty and just great to be around, 10/10 member of staff. Overall we had perfect stay and couldn’t really fault the hotel or its staff. We’ve made great memories and can’t wait to book to go back.

Great place even out of season. Hotel is clean and tidy. Plenty to do and in a great location 15 mins bus or car ride to old town.

I stayed at Rodos Hotel last June and came back this April. The hotel still has a lovely location and beautiful grounds, but it no longer feels like a true five-star, more like a four-star at best. One disappointment is that you can’t get bottled water in the hotel for free. However, George at the Playland bar was brilliant throughout our holiday. Always smiling, super friendly, and really attentive to everyone. He made the bar area feel welcoming and added to the great vibe of our stay. Hopefully he’ll be there next year!
