Great, modern family-run property in fantastic central location. The booked taxi connected us to the properties cool golf-buggy which takes baggage to the hotel in minutes and was waiting for us on arrival. The management have made the rooms quiet by adding double-double glazing (never seen that before!) and we slept well in the 2 booked rooms (112 and 110). Rooms were stylish and well equipped with good air-con making the rooms comfortable and were cleaned and tidied every day. Friendly staff, with special thanks to the lovely Olena and Pollina for a great breakfast service. The included and varied breakfasts had lots of choice (except for cereal - only one choice? :) ) and the staff were able to tweak the contents when asked. Constructive comments: 1. The shower should have some form of 'anti-slip' floor as it has the same high-gloss tiles as the rest of the property which made it treacherous. 2. The addition of a grab rail in the shower for older guests would help I feel. 3. The in-room safe was not fixed to anything- which was concerning as passports and money was inside and hence could be just lifted by someone. Overall, a great stay and we would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Rhodes old town. Rgds Jeff, Fran, Sam & Jordan. July 2026.

Such lovely and friendly staff, even to the extent of helping me with my iPhone! Wonderful location. Best breakfast ever that we had in all the various places we stayed during this trip to the Greek Isles. Great location. The hotel can Pick you up from the port in a golf buggy.

After googling for a Hotel located in Rhodes Old Town, I came across this little gem of a hotel. We arrived at 1920 and everything seemed to be closed up so I did start to panic a bit, my husband asked at the restaurant next door and he quickly called the owner. He kindly showed us to where we had to go in and unlocked the key box for us, the room was lovely, it had a little terrace with a table and chairs and all the amenities that you require.It was lovely and quiet. We went downstairs for breakfast the following day and it was amazing, it was A’La Carte, and on top of that they bring out a basket with lovely warm rolls and croissants , jam, marmalade and honey. The food and coffee was delicious, they also offer wine tasting, we were a bit early in the season for that. As we departed, they gave us a little gift box with a tea towel, key ring, soap and two little jars of honey, it was a lovely little gesture. If we ever go to Rhodes again, we will definitely stay at “ The Wine Hotel” Thank you to all the staff that look after us, you were all amazing 😻

Any positive attributes of this hotel are far outweighed by the sleep quality. We booked a room with a balcony which backed on to a night club that did not close till 4.30 am. The bass sound vibrated through the room making sleep impossible until the early morning. Room 103 is at the end of the first floor corridor. Other reviews had mentioned this room so my heart sank when we were shown to the room. Despite there being two sets of double glazed doors to the balcony and a window completely blocked with insulation it didn’t really address the sound issues. Having paid for a balcony it was completely unusable. The narrow ledge complete with two chairs and a table had such a dismal outlook over some scruffy buildings you could not imagine sitting out there to enjoy a coffee or a drink. Unfortunately we made our booking from a review in the Sunday Times without really doing any research. Not sure if you had a room on the other side of the corridor the noise situation might be any better?
