We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Grand Victoria. My kids felt very fancy staying at such a cool hotel. The sweeping staircase was especially impressive. We stayed in a room with two queens and a pull out sofa bed. The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. We stayed here during the off season, so the room was a fabulous value! The pool was small, but clean. They ran out of towels, which was kind of an issue. The hot tub was fabulous. The breakfast was really delicious: pancakes, waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, juice, yogurt, cottage cheese, sausages. However, even though it was the off season, the breakfast room got incredibly crowded. They ran out of food quickly. The staff was doing their best to keep the tables bussed and keep the food coming. They seemed overwhelmed though. We would definitely stay here again.

“Renovation is a must”

Hotel need renovation as soon as possible...some of facilities need more upgrading. I love the concept of breakfast in high floor. Hotel near the small department store, but far from city center and Mahakam river.

i booked this hotel through Traveloka with VHO Named Airyrooms Lembuswana S. parman. When the first i arrived , i lil bit doubting about the exact location of this hotel , because i booked it as airyrooms , and it doesnt give me any clue where it is . But from searching in gmaps , i know that the hotel is Grand Victoria . Maybe, for the future, please create VHO sign in front of Hotel for make the customer easily recognized the location . This hotel is really close to Lembuswana Mall and Universitas Mulawarman . So strategic ! When i checked in, i wait about half hour. because there's a miss communication between The Hotel with airyrooms , i should wait them till they finish their problem . Please fix this . The hotel is great hotel when its new , now its look a lil bit old and lousy , the lobby, corridor and everything should be refreshed again. When i entered the rooms , the rooms is spacious with old furniture , the TV is so small , like 24 inch and its not even suitable with a big room. WiFi is really slooooow ! plus point from the room is just the bath tube . But i have serious concern with the bathroom, the water is yellowish , i dont know if its from the source or its because the piping, please fixed thaat . Breakfast is okay, its on the rooftop . But when the day gets rainy, the water spoiled everywhere . Hmm , it makes me felt not comfortable anymore to continue my bfast . Overall, i like this hotel so much , the location and the service . Please fixed the problem , and i sure this hotel will be great !
