for the overall service, the friendliness of the staff and the facilities are sufficient. the cleanliness of the room is also good, but sometimes not all guests are comfortable with only a shower in the bathroom. sometimes guests also need another tap under the shower which can sometimes make it easier to perform ablution and others. and a note for the room where we stayed yesterday. precisely in apartment type number 109, the stair railing to the upper floor looks like it's about to come off. if at any time when using the handle it comes off, it's quite dangerous if the guest falls to the lower floor. for all we are very comfortable even during breakfast the traditional menu is complete and tastes good.

I was staying in Deluxe Panorama room, it is the nearest one from the lobby with pool view and our own garden with seating area. The rooms are clean, big, and comfy. Have variety choices for breakfast and plenty of parking spot. The minus is that there is no table and chair for working or using laptop and there is only one electric socket between the single bed.

My wife and I stayed here 5 years ago and I remember really enjoying it. I didn't remember it being as beautiful but it is the only place I'll stay when visiting Batu Malang. Nice pools, friendly staff, great breakfast with live music sometimes. The building architecture is unique with wide open space. This time we got an apartment which the kids enjoyed having their own room and beds.

“Amazing views, good location.”

1. Location was perfect, perfect for touring through Batu, and not to long of a drive to Malang 2. Picturesque views of the grounds. Plus the view of the mountain was spectacular. Though did the hotel have a atmosphere, there was karaoke singing at breakfast though no music at night, also the hotel opened their doors to swimming classes and other clubs that stretched the limits of the hotels capacity. Can I say it had a atmosphere? No it didnt it was based on the mobs of extra non staying guests. 2. Rooms, clean, comfortable, bed was really nice to sleep on. From the balcony we has amazing views of the mountain. 3. Bathroom was okay, though no enclosed shower area allow water to be sprayed onto the floor making it slippery. The shower head was rusty and needs replacing. Jet sprays were going everywhere. 4. Television though not my main concern only there were no programmes or movies for English speaking guests, everything was in Indonesian. 5. Value, yes well priced. 6. Restaurant hmmm ive had better breakfast at a 3 star hotel plus been served better. I found the team cooking the eggs where young inexperienced and to a point rude. The layout was huge yet with minimal offering of choices, a lot of rice and vegetables and fish...for breakfast no thankyou. I give the breakfast area and room service 1 out of 5 stars very disappointing. Coffee they have a very small barista machine yet they make a good coffee I give a 3 out of 5 for effort. In summary, They failed to provide a welcome drink though promised. The grounds and room were clean and pleasant. Bed was comfortable, shower was okay. Restaurant and room service very disappointing. Staff were mostly polite yet gave us the run around when wanting a towel for the pool. Would I stay again? No there are far better options only to be fair its not the worst place I have stayed in Total score a pass mark 3 out of 5 stars.
