Location - it’s quite far from the station. And taxis are €15. Good - large room that was reasonably clean and lovely. The desk and the luggage area probably need a deep clean in case of the luggage area and a replacement in terms of the desk which was looking tired. I did like the luggage holder though - it had a place for shoes under it - it had just seen better days. Bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Front desk were incredibly helpful and kind on every occasion I needed to talk to them - I still think back to how kind the gentlemen was even a few months later! I had a room with the view over the bay, and it was a lovely view. Not so good - there is no fan or air con that I could make out so it was quite warm at times. The road out the front seems to attract people with LOUD speakers blaring music. I’m not sure how common an experience this was. But it certainly disturbed my sleep and enjoyment of the room the night I stayed. Weird - the lights need a PhD to operate. Practicals -full 5 bars of 5g on Tim and Vodafone. I didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on that. The Hotel provided a shuttle to the station for €15. If I were in Catanzaro Lido again, I would for sure return here.

A n hotel of small size and aesthetic countenance. Excellent reception, discreet deportment. The rooms are good and the one offered advantageous. The restaurant auspicious and ambitious. Offering decent fare and excellent local wines. The views from the room as asigned were commendable. The area not of even quality, thus the quality of their hotel exceptional. As per custom the Lido designates a different area when compared to the Catanzaro equivalent. The wines offered from Calabria of value too

“MIXED FEELINGS”

The hotel is in a great location, close to the port and the waterfront promenade, with several good restaurants within walking distance. Parking is convenient. The rooms are reasonably spacious and clean. The bathroom was more than adequate, with a comfortable walk-in shower. Breakfast is excellent… more

The hotel is in a great location, close to the port and the waterfront promenade, with several good restaurants within walking distance. Parking is convenient. The rooms are reasonably spacious and clean. The bathroom was more than adequate, with a comfortable walk-in shower. Breakfast is excellent and the staff are friendly. Downsides: the lighting—at least in my room—was terrible, with dim lights that don’t let you see anything; meanwhile, the lighting control panel stays bright and is extremely annoying. The gym isn’t a real gym but a small room with three pieces of equipment, no air conditioning, and unusable for anyone who actually wants to work out. Lastly, an unpleasant hiccup: on Friday night going into Saturday we were told it wouldn’t be possible to have breakfast in the breakfast room, as it had been given over entirely to a soccer team. The options were in-room breakfast (the room isn’t set up for it) or breakfast at the bar, with the time and order to be communicated in advance. Very frustrating.
