I can highly recommend this hotel, especially if you’re travelling solo. I had a single occupancy room and, while it was small, it was more than adequate. Yes, it’s a single bed and the balcony is only big enough for one chair, but the bed was comfortable and I really didn’t mind the smaller balcony. As well as the bed, the room had a small desk and chair, a fridge with a minibar, and a huge wardrobe with two large drawers. The wardrobe was so big that I was able to store my large suitcase inside and still had plenty of space left. The bathroom is modern, and both the room and bathroom were clean. The bath towels are a good size too. My only negative about the room is the noise. You can hear every time someone else uses their bathroom, and noise from the corridor echoes quite loudly. I’d highly recommend bringing earplugs if you want a good night’s sleep. On the plus side, the shutters completely block out the sunlight, so if you fancy a siesta or want to sleep in, you won’t be woken up by the sun. The rest of the hotel is modern and clean too. The pool area is a good size, and I never had any trouble finding a sunbed. The pool bar serves food at lunchtime, which I’d say is average at best, but it’s perfectly fine if you don’t want to leave the hotel. I had breakfast twice during my stay. It’s continental, with a huge selection of sweet pastries, cooked meats, cheeses, cereals, and eggs (both boiled and scrambled). I’m dairy free, so there wasn’t much choice for me. If I’d asked, they may have been able to provide dairy-free alternatives, but I’m never too fussed about breakfast. I’ve also posted some photos of the pool bar menu and the minibar prices. You don’t get a complimentary bottle of water, and it’s €2 from the minibar, which I think is expensive. The local shop is only a two-minute walk away, and the same bottle costs around 75 cents. I found this hotel to be a great base for exploring the Amalfi Coast. Overall, I’d definitely recommend staying here. The only real negatives for me were the noise and the fact that water isn’t complimentary. That said, I believe the tap water in Italy is perfectly safe to drink.

“EXCELLENT HOTEL”

Really nice hotel, spotlessly clean with very helpful and professional staff. Breakfast was excellent with with lots of choice especially if you like cake! Really nice hotel, spotlessly clean with very helpful and professional staff. Breakfast was excellent with with lots of choice especially if you like cake! The two waiters who look after you were very pleasant and attentive. The room we stayed in was very good (214) , looking over the tennis courts, there was no noise at night. The hotel has secure, reliable WIFI and brilliant air con; however, not many English speaking channels on the TV. The hotel is ideally situated just ten minutes from the sea, restaurants and shops. There is a well stocked supermarket close by. We had an early departure but the hotel provided a packed meal for the journey. There is a nice walk through lemon trees between Maiori and Minori; however, there is lots of steps. If you like home made, delicous Italian food, to eat there, or take away, I would recommend the Maiori Food Coast. In summary an excellent hotel in a very pleasant town on the Almalfi Coast.

Maiori quiet and not much there. 2 restaurants didn't give me table for 1 but could offer take out. Hotel lovely and well decorated. Maiori quiet and not much there. 2 restaurants didn't give me table for 1 but could offer take out. Hotel lovely and well decorated. Very clean but as a solo traveller I got a single room that was tiny with a single bed (maybe not full size single). Balcony only big enough for 1 dining type chair with little room around it, felt like i was in a box. Small dressing table with mini bar under it. Large tray for kettle, cup etc and phone took up much of the space on top of it. Massive built in wardrobe with huge drawers under it, had to tip toe to hang clothes up, seemed strange given rest of room tiny. Soundproofing non existent. Hall/corridor echoed any noise and people arriving or leaving at all times was irritating. Lots of American tour parties. Head of bed next to toilet next door, could hear people doing toilet and flush/shower very loud. Could follow conversations. Pool nice and plenty sunbeds. Most staff ok but some not very friendly. Good location though, literally 10 min walk to beach and 2 main streets where restaurants located (Brazilian restaurants brilliant but steer clearof mario and marias, literally couldn't eat the basic mushroom pasta). Stayed for 2 weeks, last week in May only handful of sunbeds on beach, as soon as June arrived beach full of beds and beach bars getting built along beach. No night life but as solo traveller I was ok with that. Ferries great, let me visit most of the coastal towns along amalfi coast, I would have struggled to stay in Maiori for 2 weeks if it wasn't for the ferries. Overall it was ok but wouldn't rush back.
