The owner and staff were fantastic. They were very helpful and organized a great breakfast including delicious bread, cake and divers toppings and fruit. The room was quite big, and the beds were nice. Our only remark was little noice from the street, but one can expect this from a hotel in the middle of a wonderful town. When we are in the area in the future, we will be staying here again!

I give Hotel Caporal 20 marks out of 20 We stayed at Albergo Caporal for 2 Nights B&B sleeping 29 30 Jan 2020. We were 3 Irish fellows on our annual January trekking holiday. I can highly recommend Hotel Caporal in Monori on the Amalfi coast. It’s a small friendly family run hotel. The owner speaks a little english. I think we were the only guests at this quiet time. We had a 3-bed shared room which was very spacious with high ceilings ie lots of air with a good shower and an air conditioner which also acts as a heater (which we did not need to use). It was easy to get a perfect quiet night sleep. Lovely and in every possible way helpful owner, not expensive and ideal for walkers like ourselves. Breakfast was impressively large by Italian standards with bread, many local cakes, coffey/tea/cereals, fresh local fruit etc. It is included in the price. The owner filled my hiking picknick flask with hot water at no extra cost. I also recommend the nearby excellent and not expensive Ristorante la Botte. Minori is easily accessed by the frequent (circa every 1/2 hr.) inexpensive public busses e.g. euro1.5 per trip, buy in Tobacco shops). The bus drops one 2mins walk from the hotel. The busses run along the coast, and frequently, in both directions, even in winter. Minori and all the nearby coastal villages are extremely interesting. One can walk the ' lemon route' directly from Hotel Caporal. One can then continue to Monte Dell' Avvocata 1014mH if you are fit and adventurous, descending to the coast at Maiori or Catara. The 'walk of the gods' is also nearby by bus. There are numerous other excellent walks in this area of the beautiful Monte Littori mountain range , Amalfi coast. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Caporal Minori and you will have a super time.

Price is suitable for this turistic area and owners are very helpful for everything. They gave us maps, advices and even a piece of lemon when leaving. There is paid parking option, I came here with rental car and they take the car to the car parking easily. Breakfast is sufficient and location is very good, just near the beach and bus stop.

We stayed in this great Family run business the breakfast was a welcomed bonus the hotel was comfortable & clean, the management help us with safe for money and passports etc, help organise transfers from airport to resort and return to airport, travel advise even helped us book trips to Pompeii etc nothing was too much trouble even recommended restaurants to eat close by within walking distance we had a local festival in during our stay and caught the ferry off the pier on the beach to Capri, Amalfi great service and value for money.
