The location was absolutely stunning. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by our host Mauro, who was very friendly and always available to assist with anything we needed. The property is just a 15-minute walk to the sea, either along the road or via stairs — not too difficult, especially if you don't have mobility issues. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment that was quite basic, with a very small kitchen, but the real highlight was the balcony. The views from there are breathtaking, truly some of the best in the area. We chose to dine on the balcony two out of three nights, picking up hams, cheeses, and other delicacies from the nearby deli. Since our stay was only three days, it would have been helpful to have some essentials like salt, pepper, and olive oil upon arrival, as we had to go out and buy everything, despite limited shops being open due to a holiday. On a nice note, there was a bottle of sparkling wine waiting in the fridge, which was a lovely touch. The coffee machine wasn't working, though it was a bit frustrating since we had to resort to instant coffee early in the mornings, as the cafes weren’t open yet. We dined at Bruno's one evening, just a ten-minute walk away, and enjoyed delicious pasta and fine wine while taking in the incredible views. During our stay, we took the ferry to Amalfi town and Capri — a great way to explore the area. We also took the bus to Ravello, but due to it being very crowded, we decided to walk back to Positano. The walk was scenic and beautiful, though it involved quite a few stairs, so be prepared. Overall, it was a lovely stay with a fantastic location. If we were to do it again, we might consider staying in Amalfi, exploring that charming neighbourhood or surrounding areas, and visiting Positano for the day. Positano is small enough to see in a day, and many of its restaurants tend to be crowded and expensive, with more affordable options elsewhere.
