We stayed on the All-Inclusive package and we cannot speak too highly of the management and staff who made our holiday such a happy one. The food was excellent with a good buffet for breakfast and then with genuinely four course lunches and dinners every day there was certainly all anyone could possibly want to eat. The variety and quality of the food was first-class too, including various types of pasta and every meal had fish as well as meat among the choices.. The wine at table, red or white, as well as the bottled water was free.as were the beach umbrella and lounger-beds on the Miramare-designated beach , which is only a few metres from the hotel itself. The beach shelves very gently into the sea so the water for some distance out remains shallow and safe for even small children. The hotel has been recently refurbished , it has a lift to all floors, the rooms are air-conditioned and have colour TV too. The condition of the rooms and the whole place is excellent. The size of he rooms is limited, but we certainly found ours large enough. The bathrooms are fully modernised and there is constant hot water at any time of the day, but, again, space has certainly not been wasted.. The chamber-maids every day remake the beds, clean the room and tidy-up most efficiently and the bed-linen and towels are changed regularly. We flew into Pisa and used a hire-car to get to Marotta and found the car very useful to visit a whole host of towns inland that attracted us by their art and general mediaeval ambience....among these were Urbino, Fano. San Marino and Pesaro etc etc , so the hotel is central for these truly interesting visits. The hotel is not far from the railway-line, and although one could hear them, we were at no time disturbed by the trains. Finally, price........... the Miramare is an excellent bargain....it does not purport to be a Five-Star estabilishment and considering the costs of getting there it must be one of the few places left where honest value for modest money is possible and that make a seaside holiday in Italy among Italians a possibility for many from Britain. We were the only people there from Britain and all the Italian guests were very kind and friendly at every turn. We thoroughly recommend this hotel and its setting.
