I had a lovely few days staying in this hotel which is perfectly located in the town centre. The room was great, bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room and storage. Bathroom and shower were great too and the housekeeping was fantastic. There is also a gym, sauna and solarium on the first floor but sadly I didn’t have time to use these. Breakfast included was a standard continental arrangement with lots to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful, recommending a lunch restaurant when I asked. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

“Ideally Located”

We flew into Ancona and easily got a bus outside of the airport to the train station. Took a pleasant train trip to Porto Recanati and the hotel was about 5-10 mins easy route walk from the station. That journey was only 8 Euros. The hotel is situated on a main road surrounded by bars, shops & restaurants and 5 mins walk to the beach. The reception is small with helpful staff, especially Alessandro and within its area is a waiting room with a homely feel because it has lots of armchairs and a settee with homely touches such as a magazine rack, sideboards and wall mounted cabinets with displayed wine bottles, coffee table, computer desk with stool, private telephone box, plant pots and a rug. There is a small lift to the 3 floors. I stayed in a room for 4 which was brilliant because it surprisingly turned out to be 2 separate bedrooms separated by the bathroom instead of one room with 2 double beds like some other hotels. 1 of the bedrooms had twins beds opposite each other with a fridge full of soft & alcoholic drinks that was reasonable priced. There was also tea/coffee facility, a flat screen TV on a shelved table, a lamp on a round table and a padded seat. The other bedroom had twins beds pushed together with the bedding made up to look like it was a double bed with single drawer bedside tables either side that had lamps on. There was a large, flat screen, wall mounted TV with a 3 drawer rattan dressing table that had a matching rattan chair and a large wall mounted mirror. There was also a double wardrobe with a safe in and extra blankets with a 3 shelved table next to it that had a large lamp on. There is no iron in the rooms but you can request one from reception for use. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower with 2 small corner shelves in and opaque frosted glass for privacy. There was a trendy 3 drawer and 2 cupboard bathroom cabinet with the sink on top and a large wall mounted mirror. There was also a wall mounted hair dryer next to the mirror with 2 corner shelves full of enough toiletries for the 4 of us.The bathroom also had a toilet with a B-day opposite, a stool, shelves with plenty of towels for 4 and a trendy wall mounted radiator. The views from all our windows was of a courtyard behind the hotel surrounded by lots of residential and business buildings, so nothing to get excited about. A couple of our friends were sharing a double room which had a balcony with 2 chairs & a table and a lively view of the main road. The rest of their room was similar to our room that had the twin beds pushed together except they had a wall that had along its entire length a combination unit of 2 double wardrobes with a connecting dressing table area that had a large mirror insert. Within the hotel on the 1st floor is a meeting/ socialising room with plenty of seating areas, a table mounted TV, toilets and an outside large veranda with more seating, parasols and a further area that led to a conference room. Great meeting point for our group of 13 although we were told to keep the noise down. The breakfast area was quaint with trendy table and chairs for up to 4, a large bookcase and toilets. The breakfast itself was limited with mainly cold items and a couple of hot ones. There was cereals, ham, cheese, fruit, yogurt, toast, bread rolls etc and items which you can ask for separately or at an extra cost. Adequate enough if you are not fussed about choice or like a hearty starting meal. Overall I would recommend this boutique hotel. Also visits up the road to the Black Soul Coffee for cocktails, pizza and excellent customer service is definitely worthwhile as well as in the opposite direction the Giorgio Gelateria e Caffetteria for amazing ice-cream creations in a great atmosphere where there's a DJ. Both of these establishments have wonderful owners who really has superb customer service and both made us so welcomed that we went to both places everyday which is a rarity for me as I hate going back to the same place twice.

“Small and noisey”

The room I was in was very small and at the front of the hotel. The bathroom was very small, not much room, the floors in the room were not carpeted as a result I slipped twice after a shower, very slippy. The room I was in was very small and at the front of the hotel. The bathroom was very small, not much room, the floors in the room were not carpeted as a result I slipped twice after a shower, very slippy. The bed is two single put together as a result they split apart in the night not good. First morning I was woken up by a men under my window with a leaf blower. Second morning I woke up at six am to the noise of a street market starting to set up out side my window. There is almost zero parking here so don’t expect to park and don’t park weds night will be towed away due to market on Thursday morning. Breakfast is typical continental although very basic. Would not recommend a family going here and buisness no more than a couple of nights. I am being generous giving 3 stars that’s only because staff were friendly

“paper walls”

Very good location of hotel, close to train station, close to downtown, Dome and all monuments, but walls are like from paper, every noise, voices or movement is so loud. So it is very uncomfortable especially during the night.
