“First but not last eurocamp experience”

We stayed here for 4 nights as a family of 4 (kids aged 2 and 3 months). We had the 3 bed cabin and it was perfect. 2 year had one room, we had one room and another room for all our stuff. There was no oven or bbq in the cabin but other than that had everything you could possibly need. Drying rack for clothes, dishwasher, lots of pans, dishes etc. really good air conditioning. Shower was a bit temperamental on the hot water, make it a quick shower! If wanting sheets and towels, buy them in advance rather than getting on arrival as it’s cheaper. A really nice outside deck which had a brilliant comfy sofa space as well as table and chairs. There were a few mosquitos so recommend having a candle or something outside to deter them in the evenings. Friday & Saturday night we could hear music until 4am, from a club outside the hotel. Quite loud, definitely a negative. Beach was shingle, had to pay 20 euros for a front row sunbed, 15 euros for one at the back. Sea was a bit choppy, so we didn’t use it. A small child play area on the beach. There are 2 washing machines and one dryer. A wash is 4 euro a go and dryer 1.50 need coins for these. There’s a decent onsite shop where you can get bits or a Lidl 6 minutes down the road. Facilities are excellent. Pool is great, lots of different areas, lots of beds available. You need to wear the swimming caps, everyone does. You can buy for 2 euro in the shop and pool bar. Didn’t need to wear ‘conventional swimwear’ - baggy trunks were allowed. Beautiful tennis courts available to hire for 10 euros an hour. We hired an electric bike and went exploring down the coast - so many child parks and play areas but otherwise we didn’t leave. Animation was brilliant, they worked hard. All in all it was really good, they’ve set the bar high for eurocamp! I would recommend. Accommodation is excellent value for money.

“Good stay for one week”

We stayed here in july for one week, family with 15 and 12 yrs old kids. Our accomodation was a safari tent. Obviously no airco but surprisingly cool at night. Well equipped! We never tested the restaurant since for us it was too close to the evening animations (noisy). Nice beach with charged beds… more

We stayed here in july for one week, family with 15 and 12 yrs old kids. Our accomodation was a safari tent. Obviously no airco but surprisingly cool at night. Well equipped! We never tested the restaurant since for us it was too close to the evening animations (noisy). Nice beach with charged beds, normal in Italy. The sea is good for a swim, even for kids. Nice waterpark as well. Clean and 2 never boring slides. As usual (and imo completely useless) in Italy you are requited to wear bathing caps. Some minuses: one must pay to use a footballfield???? Animation staff looks enthousiastic and friendly enough. However, several times when our kids were approached to join and responded in fluent english/german the animators simply turned away. Even no excuses for not understanding... Strange.

“A lovely campsite but you won't sleep!”

We are currently holidaying at La Risacca. We are having a lovely time. The campsite is clean, staff are friendly and the pool complex is excellent and very clean! We are currently holidaying at La Risacca. We are having a lovely time. The campsite is clean, staff are friendly and the pool complex is excellent and very clean! There is lots of entertainment, kids clubs etc but mainly aimed at Italian families. Unfortunately we are having serious trouble sleeping. Most nights, there seems to be a very loud rave nearby which goes on between 2am-6am. The Club Del Sole policy states that noise is prohibited between 12-7am, so I am presuming that this noise is off site but I cannot stress how disturbing it is. We have two young children so sleep is hugely important. A significant negative for what is generally a lovely campsite.
