Hotel Le Soleil has been, perhaps, the most pleasant surprise in our travels. The place is more than clean, perfectly organized and with the most corteous, kind and helpful personnel. The price/quality ratio is definitely very good. A special note for disabled travellers on a wheel-chair: though not specifically adapted, there are rooms with bathrooms and showers very well conceived to suit our needs, so we had no problems. Second special note: the cooking is of a high "family" level, light yet really tasty and perfectly served. Third special note: Mr. Raffaele Baiocco, the owner and manager, is one of the most caring persons we had the pleasure to know. A warm "thank you all". Arrigo & Cinthia de Angeli

“3* hotel with 4* welcome, quality and service”

We usually try to stay in 4* hotels, but for seaside locations in Italy that doesn't come cheap, so we went for this 3* option based on a series of excellent Trip Advisor ratings. It is fair to say the hotel fully deserves these high ratings. The hotel was located a very short walk from a reserved family-friendly section of beach. It's probably not unfair to say that the location of the hotel within San Benedetto is not something you would get excited about, but nothing to be concerned about. The family room was large enough to be comfortable for 4 people; very clean, with a good-sized bathroom. The outstanding features about this hotel are the food and the friendliness of the staff. We had the half board option, although the majority of other guests appeared to have the full board. The evening meal, in a very pleasant restaurant, was a real treat with high-quality authentic food every one of the 5 nights we stayed. Whilst you had to choose your menu options the night before, you still had the chance to try the other choices as these were offered to us in between our chosen courses. Still and fizzy water was provided free of charge and the wine was very reasonably priced. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. We felt quite humbled by the attention we received from the staff. One of the ladies, who helped us translate the menu each night, and one of the men were able to speak good English but this didn't detract from the friendliness of all the other staff who couldn't speak English. Highly recommend visiting this hotel.

“A nice friendly hotel!!!”

We stayed for one week and really enjoyed it. The hotel staff are really friendly and make you feel at home. We stayed for one week and really enjoyed it. The hotel staff are really friendly and make you feel at home. We stayed on a half board basis and found the restaurant served delicious food, with plenty of fish dishes. It is a short walk to the beach where sunbeds and umbrellas are provided. All in all a very relaxing week!

“A very nice end to our trip”

My wife and I and 2 friends stayed here for 2 days at the end of a cycling trip in Northern Italy. There was a bit of a language barrier at the beginning and I think the owner had only recently taken over the place, but it was truly enjoyable staying here. With the room came two chairs and beach umbrellas at one of the local bars along the Adriatic. The hotel also had bicycles for the guests and we took advantage of those to ride into the old town about 15 minutes away and to the other end of the beach about the same distance. Each room has a balcony, some being larger than the others and would suggest one of those, especially if there are more than two of you in the group. They have a very good breakfast with made to order omelettes served by a very friendly and attentive staff. The hotel is very near the beach, there is a nice grocery store nearby that makes wonderful sandwiches for picnics and several restaurants across and down the street. I would definitely stay here again, especially given the very reasonable prices.
